STEVEnBETTY Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 Been following the web site for a few months, just ordered a new "Ollie" 1/10, expect delivery mid may. 1 STEVEnBETTY
Mainiac Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 Wecome, when is your start date? Ours is schedule to start tomorrow, but that is a holiday(?). But I think they had "snowdays" built in, or at least we hope. We have booked and paid for a Oliver Rally first weekend of May... 1
STEVEnBETTY Posted January 15, 2017 Author Posted January 15, 2017 Not sure, mid feb? Just paid the deposit 1/10. STEVEnBETTY
STEVEnBETTY Posted January 15, 2017 Author Posted January 15, 2017 Really curious about the privacy room, have something similar on our motorcycle camper but it's a screen room. STEVEnBETTY
Moderator+ ScubaRx Posted January 15, 2017 Moderator+ Posted January 15, 2017 ...Ours is schedule to start tomorrow, but that is a holiday(?)... Not in this neck of the woods. The Oliver crew will be hard at it. 1 Steve, Tali and our dog Rocky plus our beloved dogs Storm, Lucy, Maggie and Reacher (all waiting at the Rainbow Bridge) 2008 Legacy Elite I - Outlaw Oliver, Hull #026 | 2014 Legacy Elite II - Outlaw Oliver, Hull #050 | 2022 Silverado High Country 3500HD SRW Diesel 4x4
STEVEnBETTY Posted January 15, 2017 Author Posted January 15, 2017 STEVE, (nice name by the way) a few questions about the privacy room if you don't mind? Did you get any options other than the standard room, if so what did you get? Have you solved the issue of the skirting? Thanks STEVEnBETTY
Mainiac Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 With a deposit, I believe, they (Oliver) create a work order. On that work order is a scheduled start date. A few days before that comes the second check. Then you can count down the approximate 12 weeks to pick up. The motorcycle going in the back of the TV (tow vehicle)?
STEVEnBETTY Posted January 16, 2017 Author Posted January 16, 2017 Thanks, we dealt with Heather, she gave us a tentative date of feb 19, she was working around the schedules. The motorcycle is a Honda goldwing and the thought of riding a 900 lb motorcycle up a ramp into the bed of my truck makes me awfully nervous. I appreciate your response, I have learned an awful lot of information from this forum, this is the first time I have actually joined one, I'm more of a lurker. STEVEnBETTY
Mainiac Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 We learn something new every day. Usually can't find the story a second time. Have to take notes...
