phil underwood Posted October 9, 2009 Author Posted October 9, 2009 sounds great Pete For all those who would like to arrive early and/or stay late at Miller Creek during our Hill-a-Palooza: The parks weekly rates are $180.00 They will however honor our rally rates for those who are choosing to spend more time at the park. If you double up your daily rate will be $22.00 (that is 154.00 a week) If you are able to have your own spot the daily rate will be 27.00 (that is 169.00 a week) Either way you go, it will be cheaper to pay the rally rate rather than their regular weekly rate. It's your choice. Also, please keep in mind that Miller Creek has 2 rally's scheduled besides ours. One will end 4 days before ours and the other will start 4 days after ours. I spoke with the owner and he said that during those 4 days before and after he will allow us use of the rec. hall just like last year. Also, you only have to call the park if your planing to come early or stay late. I hope I answered everyone's questions. Thanks so much & we can't wait to see you there!!!! Phil & Denise Underwood

jam49 Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 Hi Steve and Tali, Yep that was me and Revilo like Pete said. I just posted a quick note about how much fun it was to be at the Hillapalooza rally and didn't look at the previous posts until later. Unfortunately, I had to leave early. Phil and Denise are very good hosts and they and all the other people are sooooooooooooooooo nice. I could do this rally thing full time since it is that much fun.
Moderators bugeyedriver Posted February 27, 2010 Moderators Posted February 27, 2010 Yes indeedy, them thar "horsey shoes" were in FACT seats from the throne . . . this was, after all, an official "Hill-a-Palooza" with a kinda hillbilly twist. With their shape being kinda similar to them itty-bitty ones some city folk use, the Underwoods thought we'd hurl them at the posts instead. After the first couple of tosses it was determined they needed some beefin' up cuz they were sorta breakin' apart so Phil grabbed some of that thar ducky tape stuff and wrapped 'em real good like and the games continued. "Ducky tape . . . don't leave home without it!" Here's our blog entry for the Hill-a-Palooza . . . http://peteandthewonderegg.blogspot.com/2010/03/hill-palooza-2010.html Pete & "Bosker".
