Caddymv
I was tidying up the Ollie and noticed one of the reading lights is loose. Not firm in the ceiling. For the life of me I can’t figure out how to tighten it. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you 2022 Elite 2 twin. Frank C
Unfortunately, if your Ollie is the same as ours, the reading lights are riveted in place, so if a rivet works loose it can’t be tightened, the rivet has to be replaced.
Ollie-Haus
If they are pop-rivets, they can easily be drilled out and replaced. The tools to do this are very inexpensive and handy to have around. Edit: If you wanted to you could drill out the old rivets and replace with stainless steel machine screws with nuts on the back side for a more permanent fix. Ace hardware could supply exactly what you need for a few bucks. 1 What's today?............. the most frequently asked question as a retiree 🙄 Chris and Stacie Neuhaus Greenfield, Indiana 2021 Ford F350 7.3L Tremor (Redzilla) LE2 #1373 - Ordered 10/21/22 - Delivered 05/10/
bhncb
Here's the piece I ordered to relocate mine. Pay attention to the rivet material and recommended hole size. The fiberglass here is a very thin layer. If the hole is slightly oversized and/or the rivet has a steel mandrel, the rivet will likely pull through when set. To reattach, you should rotate the lamp base about 45 degrees from the original position and drill two new holes. "It's never easy"
