  1. I have noticed that Olivers don't sit for long. Someone will put them to good use !
  2. Very cool ! Theere was some chatter in the past about heat buildup in the cabinet. Have you guys experienced any of that ?
  3. I have heard on other forums of owners repairing them. I am sure that I would be reluctant to give it a try.
  4. Talking with others about various board games for the JUGFEST2011 gathering. How about Sequence ?
  5. Talked with Steve and Tali by Skype Video call last night. She's doing well after surgery and they are expecting a new grandbaby around jugfest time so she may miss it. Steve and a Casita friend from Tupelo will be there though.
  6. I talked by phone with Allan of the Off Road Camping Club. The off road camping club will be well represented at this year's Jugfest2011 . Most will remember Allan and Chris's great tent trax pulled behind such a sharp Jeep. Their campsite is always a real eye catcher.

  8. Betty and I will most likely arrive at Kirby Landing Lake Greeson the 12th or 13th of April. As usual we plan to get there a bit early to start getting ready for others to arrive as their schedules permit. I think that we would like to camp at or near to where we were last year. Our plan is to spend in the neighborhood of three weeks there so that folks can come and go as they need to. Everybody please feel free to call me at 479.243.5450 to visit and talk about jugfest2011. I have talked to Pete and I think he and Oscar will probably get there a little early also. It looks like the full moon and baitfish spawn will occour around the 18th of April.

  10. A couple of our attendees are considering going on to Heber Springs Arkansas, 172 miles from our campground at Kirby Landing, to attend an workamper seminar and rendezvous. Cool place, cool topics and cool presenters ! Need more info ? Email Chuck and Gehri !
  11. Here is a link to more info on the boat. I think it will work well for us. It has two live wells and two bait buckets that are in the fresh water there, on two seperate 500 Gallon per hour pumps. Here's the link: http://mountainborn.blogspot.com/2011/01/reasoning.html
  12. Chuck and Geri will be at Jugfest2011 also. Talked to them on the phone.
  13. Have ya' got it on yer' mind ? We have bought a new boat today, and are getting our stuff ready ! Link to the boat description: http://mountainborn.blogspot.com/2011/01/boat.html
  14. allenpamela, Sorry for the late reply. I've been traveling around in the Wonder Egg for a few months. The macerator continues to be a helpful addition to The Wonder Egg. I recently stopped in at Hohenwald and had the guys add a septic clean-out hookup. Now the "dirty job" is even an easier task, as there is no need to haul a clean-out wand through the front door. I simply attach the external hose to the clean-out port, pull the black lever and turn on the macerator, when the pitch changes on the pump I turn on the hose which does a thorough rinse inside the tank for 2 minutes . . . hose off, pump off, lever in and I'm done! Life is goooooood . . . . Great solution !
  15. Jonathan, As forums manager, I was caught by supprise with your registration process change. None of the moderation team members, whom I personaly recruited, nor myself, were even given a heads up in reguards to this. *******************Update-Update-Update ********************* Just got off of the phone with Johnathan who told me the rest of the story. . . . . . It seems that I have over reacted somewhat, the registration change was to assist one of our moderators that had tied his personal and business email accounts togather somehow. The resulting marriage caused his business email account to be wildly overloaded with unwanted registration requests. Since Jonathan is in the process of overhauling the registration process with a new and updated CAPTCHA set up, it was easier to change our registration process to his email temporarily, until he can complete the capcha changes. Thanks for every one's patience during this change over.
  16. Cool stuff to see in the area where we are workamping for Amazon.com. Here is a link with photos: http://www.mountainborn.blogspot.com/
  17. Happy Thanksgiving you guys ! Thinking of you all on this day ! We miss our Oliver, but we miss you most of all ! Larry and Betty

  19. We have enjoyed our sunroom by sewing susan during the time we had our Ollie. It gave us much more room to take off muddy hiking boots ect.. But, mostly it was a great place in the shade to recline and snooze ! The sunroom is complete with all ties and attachments. The only thing that needs attention is a velcroe strip needs to be sewn back on. There is no other damage to the sun room. The velcroe strip is still there and the wall it is on works just fine. This set includes: Front wall Bumper end wall Door end wall Floor cover Four corner tiedowns Over the top tiedowns The sun room has withstood 30 MPH winds at jugfest2009, with the awning out, because of the tiedown kit. It works great. Asking price if you pick up $250.00 Mailed price is the same but you pay the actual shipping cost. It is in the origonal plastic bags and the box we recieved it in and is ready to go ! Origonal cost delivered was near $450.00 Here it is at Independence Kansas at Elk city Lake State Park: In this photo you can see how well it stands up to a snow storm: Call me at 479.243.5450 to arrange delivery or ask about things you are curious about with the sun room.
  20. Good photo of Susie ! Hope you let that poor baby in out of the snow right away !
  21. Great photos and storys you guys ! Thanks.
  22. Same thing noted on our Ollie. Since ours is such an early Oliver, it has quite a few scratches on it.
  23. You are right Sherry, nailed it. > DCKiefer , sorry bout the thread hijack. You would think I would know better !
  24. Here is the link to fish, folks & Fun fotos: http://mountainborn.blogspot.com/2010/05/bag.html
  25. Hi Sherry ! Betty & I are just back from Lake Greeson and are franticly shuffling our stuff to get ready to go to Camping World of Houston, located in Katy, Tx, to pick up our new Fifth Wheel. Our beloved Ollie will be there and available for viewing by intrested buyers. As our days are few, to get ready to depart for the campground that we manage up high in Colorado, we thank you for doing all of the hard work to keep the forums going as we were on the lake with four other Olivers. Could that be a WORLD RECORD, five Olivers rallying in one spot with their owners ? With luck we leave this afternoon, enroute to Camping World of Houston, Texas. Leaving our Ollie there for sale, will be a sad, sad time for us.
