  1. AWOL on the BEACH !

Our last appointment of the day, to show the Oliver, was in Mathis Tx, not too far from bird island basin, so we went off route, read that as AWOL, and we are down on the National seashore also. We swung through the basin campground to see how crowded it was, but since it was late, we didn't want to back the long Pony Express in, intending to overnight on the parking lot at the visitor center, then return in the day light. But sharp eyed Mary and Fred spotted us and we had a great visit ! We will be back in the morning, to Bird island basin and friends. Overnighting on the visitor center parking lot. In the morning we will dump and top off with water at the Malakeet campground, before backing in near friends. harm & bett, AWOL on the beach . . . . .

  2. MERIDIAN MISSISSIPPI, OVERNIGHTING

Left the Montgomery Alabama area in the rain early this morning. Drove in the rain to Meridian Mississippi where we are camped just East of town in a newly renovated KOA Campground. Setup in the rain and it is still raining.

Our physical address is, 3953 KOA Campground road Toomsuba, Ms. 39364. We are in campsite #1 right by the office, come on by and see us ! Wev'e got the coffee pot on and we are ready to show you the beautiful 2015 Legacy Elite II ! Call 479.243.5450 !

  3. The Oliver road team has left Florida and is heading North up I-75 to near Macon, Georgia where we will turn West on US Highway 80 which follows, somewhat the old Dixie Overland Highway, one of America's oldest Paved coast to coast highways. This "Heart of Dixie" route will take us all the way to Dallas Texas where we will head South towards the Padre Island National Seashore. There is so much history along this route that we will be going slower than the usual Interstate Highway speeds, so, call us at 479243.5450 and we will show you the 2015 Oliver Legacy Elite II that we are pulling !

  4. Betty and I are camped out at the RV Supershow in Tampa and Sherry and Paul helped us out with the delivery of a care package from the factory in Hohenwald. Robert had our care package overnighted to the dawgs who brought it from home to the show with them !

Thanks Sherry and Paul ! You are the Bomb !

  5. Our friend and co worker Earl Gill is in the Hospital out in Arizona. Earl is resting well now and is in stable condition as Doctors plan a surgical procedure to clear some blockage. Earl is the kind of guy that jumped out of perfectly good aircraft to serve our Country. Your prayers for our friend Earl will be greatly appreciated.

  6. We have been showing the Legacy II in Georgia for the last two days and are overnighting in Valdosta Georgia. Call 479.243.5450 and we will meet up to give you a tour. Here is a look at our approximate route.

  8. While at the factory getting ready for our Winter tour, we had a chance to take a quick look at some of the cool new features of the eighteen point five ! Here is a photo of the wheel well before the new trim is installed.

  9. This map is pretty low quality but still legible. As with all such routes, this one can change with weather or volume of visit requests. It will follow the old Dixie-Overland ( Now US Hwy. 80 ) route for quite a distance. Note that pin A and pin M are in the same place and is the starting and ending point of the tour. Here is the map.

We will be overnighting in the Tampa State fairgrounds parking lot, they charge $12 per night. Here is a promotional video of the show. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=yW7L3T1D20g If you haven't ever been to the show, it's hard to imagine how big it is until you see the video.

The seadawg's and maybe other Oliver owners will be there with us. If you can, come on down to Tampa and let's have a big old time while looking at all the newest that the RV Industry has to offer ! Here is a link to the show's web page:

  11. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to every one on these forums and lurkers as well !

ps, every time I have a chance when talking to the factory, I slip in a question about the new 18.5 Legacy Elite and it's pending release. From time to time I hear that one of the workers snapped a couple of cell phone pix of the first hull, number unknown, as it came out of the mold. So far I have had no luck getting the pix sent to me.

  12. Sounds like the perfect place to use the motorized trailer mover. About the size of a push lawn mower, it works on electricity. The SeaDawgs on these forums had a similar situation and they researched then priced them. Seems like they found a good clean used one and it works really great for them. These get little use so I would think that a used one would be just fine. Maybe Paul or Shetty can tell you about theirs and maybe post up a photo. Or, Maybe use the search panel at the top of the page to pull up their article when they were in the middle of it.
