  1. Thank you for taking the time to post the photos "Spike;" your interior is exactly the look & feel I'm going for. Your tag line reminds me ... “There are your fog people & your sun people, he said. I said I wasn't sure which kind I was. He nodded. Fog'll do that to you, he said.” ― Brian Andreas
  2. Angela, I look forward to seeing your TT too!
  3. I'd love to see a photo of your interior. We're going gray too - the black dog sheds - with the Tuxedo Grey fabric. It looks like the new grey flooring is called Stepup Knox, which I like too. Also, hubs just said they aren't starting our TT until November 7, which to me means when we go up in October I can change my mind.
  4. It's happening! We were planning on ordering our Ollie II in October when we visit the plant, but, have learned the price goes up September 1, so we're ordering sight unseen before the end of the month. We need to select our colors now based on the sample photos on the OTT website but I sure would love to see a photo of the interior of one that has the seagrass flooring before I commit to it. I know I've seen one posted previously, but can't find it now. Searching "seagrass" returned nothing. If you chose that option, would you please post a photo? Many many thanks!
  5. Hi Yvonne! We are in the process of choosing our options & I wanted to know how the bike rack system is working for you. Thanks!
  6. You did a wonderful job installing the stainless counter top & it's attractive too.
  7. Hmmmm, may steal your "couch" idea. My husband is 6'3"/300 lbs & I just can't see him sitting there comfortably in the dinette configuration. The blue you chose is very pretty.
  8. Great info! Thank you!
  9. You are absolutely right about the training & that will be my goal. The problem is that only one of us is a disciplinarian. I have a smart doodle & a dim doodle too! The black one is 50/50 Lab & Poodle, the blonde one is full blown Goldendoodle. Guess which one is dim. And twist my arm for more pics of my Doods. :) Although we are at opposite ends of the US, I hope to one day meet you & your Doodles!
  10. Thank you for your response & congrats on your soon-to-be OTT! I love the fabric you chose & hope you will let me know how you like it.
  11. Has anybody done this? We're getting a new tow vehicle & if this is a solution, I'd love to have it pre-wired.
  12. Wanting to learn the easy way, I'd love to hear about your experiences with the Oliver fabrics & dogs. I like most of what they offer but worry about the weave and toenails. If you have a dog, is there a fabric you recommend or suggest avoiding?
  13. Looks like we will be heading to Hohenwald & ordering our Ollie2 in October. I'm about to burst with excitement! As we dream & drool about our options, one thing that worries me are the countertops. We are not, um, as careful as we should be with stuff & I know that sooner than later one of us will damage the fiberglass. My question is, has anyone had a type of countertop installed that is not the fiberglass/fiber-granite product Oliver offers? I'd love to see photos. I saw the stainless install, which I loved - hubs said no. In some of the photos there is a wood counter under microwave & pantry. Is it possible to have all the counters done in wood, except the bath?
  14. Excellent point!
  15. My husband has a problem with modesty - he isn't. He's a really big guy (6'4" 300+lbs) & doesn't plan to use the indoor shower. I've searched & found a few DIY shower enclosures for the outside of RVs but am hoping one of you have seen or invented one that will work on an Ollie. I'd prefer to not need to drill into & attach something to that beautiful body & obviously, would like it to take up as little space as possible. Any suggestions? Thanks!
  16. Hello Ollie Family! Last Saturday my husband and I had the pleasure of seeing an Ollie in Ocala, FL. (Thank you Walter!) We were smitten & after a couple years of RV shows & lot visits (welcome to Disney World, ugh) we knew this was the one. I have scoured the forums & am so pleased to read all the nice things said about the Oliver company, the Oliver RV owners, & the Ollie in general. Retirement for us is December 2018 & we plan to plan to place an order in about a year. Our first big trip will be May of 2019 to Alaska (with two big mutts) to visit our son. In the meantime, we have a lot to learn & are thankful you're here to teach us!
