  1. I actually stumbled upon it at Big Lots, but I'm sure Amazon has it. The brand is "American Kennel Club." There are a couple design flaws that can be remedied with zip ties and a couple towels strategically placed to stop the rattling. It worked magnificently with my two clowns
  2. The best BOGO ever! Thank you Skippy, er, Bill for orchestrating one of the most memorable adventures ever. [attachment file=Zip Line Soaking Wet.JPG]
  3. Today's photos posted on Instagram and Facebook. Search for: #oliverrally2018
  4. Matt, just a few minutes ago I was replying to a post where i quoted kayrae & inserted a jpeg. Before submitting, I noticed several norton terms were in the Tags field. (I deleted them.) I dont know if that means anything behind the scenes but FYI, in case it does.

  6. Click here for updated list --> 2018-Oliver-Rally-Camper-List-as-of-04-21-18.pdf I should be as compulsive about cleaning my house.
  7. Two weeks from this moment we all will be enjoying a toddy & saying, "DAMN that was awesome!"
  8. Thank you for being our financier! I'm still in & will have cash for you. Chris
  9. Goodness! Kudos to MountainOliver for saving Steve & Tali's glass. I'm curious, what did he see happening that caused him to check under the trailer?
  10. Done! Tweaked, fluffed, & updated attendee list here --> 2018-Oliver-Rally-Camper-List-as-of-04-17-18.pdf
  11. After some cyber-stalking, I've updated the list with info I could find & converted to a pdf that will, hopefully, upload. Please let me know of any changes, edits, updates & I'll tweak. If the pdf doesn't come through, we'll find a Plan B. I failed to say, THANK YOU to Scotty for doing the hard legwork! Chris CLICK HERE --> 2018-Oliver-Rally-Camper-List_Map.pdf
  12. Has anyone installed one? Not being able to see who's on the other side of the frosted glass concerns me. Installing a peephole seems like an easy fix, but, of course, I want to hear/learn from someone who's installed one in an Oliver.
  13. Ours too. Covered them with little rubber screw thread protectors.
  14. I'd love to participate. (Level 2!) Based on the agenda, it looks like Saturday afternoon is the best time but I'll go whatever day/time works for everyone. Thank you for organizing! Chris
  15. Happy ending! We are fully charged thanks to a friend who has a 30 amp outlet at his home that he installed years ago for his motorhome. So very thankful for good friends & fellow Oliver owners. Chris

  17. Oh my goodness, you all are wonderfully kind & generous, and informative! I'm gathering that our batteries need to be fully charged for a trickle charger to do any good. Our batteries are at 9.0 so it appears my first goal is to get them charged? I was at the trailer this morning and connected the trailer & tow veh with the 7 pin connector for about 30 minutes but didn't see a change in charge level. Our neighbor has a Honda generator that I can handle & will borrow when they get home. In the meantime, I'll pull the negative cable to keep the batteries from draining any further. Please let me know if I'm off track. Topgun/Bill, the Harbor freight charger is on sale for $13.99! Can't beat that! Ride&fly/Bill, I truly appreciate your offer of the 20V solar setup. I hope to have this figured out soon & shouldn't need it. I do have a question, did you wire the 7 pin connector yourself? Mike, thank you so much for your offer to come help. I think I got this, but if the above fails, I will reach out to you. We are registered for the Rally and pending Duke's recovery, will be there. Although I've got to learn how to handle the Ollie by myself, we may need to ask for help with unhooking/hooking up of trailer. I look forward to meeting you all & thanking you in person. Chris
  18. Does anyone use a solar tickle charger? If so, would you please share which one you recommend & how to connect it to the 4 Trojan AGM 6v batteries? Due to an unfortunate accident (Duke broke 6 ribs) that occurred the day after he & our son returned from camping & before we had a chance to recharge the batteries after said camping trip, we need a way to recharge our batteries while it is in storage. (No power access & we don't have the solar panels.) I've been researching solar trickle chargers but because of the learning curve and the overwhelming amount of info out there in the WWW, I am stuck. Huge thanks, Chris
  19. Great info Sherry! I would never have known there are rules about dog food. Looking forward to your chapter on campsites. Chris
  20. You'd think that this would be the type of information in the "manual" that Oliver sends you home with...
  21. Phil was using & recommended this when we picked up our Ollie. https://www.amazon.com/Shurhold-Yacht-YBP-0701-Serious-Aerosol/dp/B004OJRBKA/ref=sr_1_17?ie=UTF8&qid=1520213923&sr=8-17&keywords=shurhold+products
  22. Donbob - Did you ever get an answer about this? We have the same issue. Thanks, Chris
  23. Thank you for the suggestion. I found this shelf version at Bealls Outlet today & thought I'd try it over the kitchen sink. They also had the towel holder & toilet paper holder.
