It's easier to remove and install the spare tire cover if you stick something about 2-1/2 inches long in the spot where we used to put our gas cap (while filling up) when the gas fill tube was located under the car's license plate (years ago).

That's what I'm looking for. Thanks.

I also removed that spring pin in the hole at the top of the crank and cleaned up the edges of the hole with a file. That spring pin would be hard on your hand if you had to use that manual crank. Edit: Don’t remove that spring pin. It’s there for a reason.

Inserted into content: It took a couple of tries but this worked. I had to edit the picture but it posted well. Thanks again John, Bill -
Adding pictures to posts

Thanks John. I'm using an iPhone 7 on Verizon. Just rebooted and still have squashed pictures. I need to do an update. I have an iPad also and a Verizon Jetpack hotspot so I will try to post pictures using those. Do you resize or crop your pictures or do you just upload straight from your photo library? -
There are (2) each #10-32 acorn nuts, #10 split lockwashers and M5 flat washers holding the plastic "motor sleeve" on the front jack on (2) #10-32 threaded studs. The problem with this is that you can't tighten these nuts against anything solid to make the lockwashers work well. Remove the motor sleeve and you will see what I mean. One of my acorn nuts was missing after pulling the trailer 132 miles home from the factory. I replaced these acorn nuts and lockwashers with #10-32 nyloc nuts. Don't over tighten these nuts or you may break the plastic motor sleeve. Just run them in until you can't move the motor sleeve up or down anymore.

How do I add pictures to my posts? I am using an iPhone to take pictures and access this forum. When I try to add pictures they are "squashed " as John E Davies put it in his unanswered post regarding this same question.

I tried the search function but couldn't find an answer. What is the brand of the towel hook and towel bar that Oliver is currently putting in our trailers?
-
I have worn KountryKamper out asking him questions (although he is welcome to answer also) so I will give him a break and ask you all some. What do you use to prop the freezer and refrigerator door open when not in use?

I hope this isn't a repost. The crank to manually operate the front jack is too short to use with the propane tank cover in place. A regular 3/8 inch drive ratchet extension turned around works as an extension for the manual crank. A 6 inch extension will work but a longer one will allow the crank to clear the propane cover.

When camping with water connection and leaving camper unattended for the day, should you close hydrant and release pressure inside the camper?

Open your closet door and carefully check the ends of the bolts that secure the fire extinguisher bracket to the door. Mine had been shortened with a cutoff wheel that left a small burr that snagged some clothes in the closet.

Off-pavement recovery - equipment and best methods
Townesw replied to John E Davies's topic in Towing an Oliver
I meant Crooked Creek Farms instead of Cripple Creek Farms in my earlier post. Anyway, I saw a trailer in the service department on February 19 with that graphic that had an interesting looking hitch and a jack with dual rollers and I thought it might be yours. -

Overland, Is your trailer the one with the Cripple Creek Farms logo on the front? -
Are all of the PEX lines 1/2 inch?

I just tried to measure our new KTT mattresses and it is not as easy as you think it is. They are "about" 29-29.5 wide by 74-74.5 long by 7-7.50 deep depending on where and how you measure them. My wife ordered 2 sets of AB Lifestyles 30x75 Bunk sheets and they fit well enough that we ordered 2 more sets for spares. The bottom sheet is fitted on all 4 corners. The top sheet is fitted on the bottom 2 corners. She also ordered quilted top mattress covers that fit well but I can't find the source of those. If you're interested I will continue to look. Hope this helps. Bill

Is the macerator pictured in T-Oliver's post built from a commercial kit or is it assembled from individually sourced parts?

I'm new to RVs. That looks like something to chop or grind stuff from the black tank. What exactly is it?

Hello Mike, Yes, we will be at the rally. Looking forward to meeting you there. Bill

Hello all. My wife Martha and I (Bill) took delivery of LEII hull #313 today. We were supposed to take delivery March 26 but our Oliver was finished early and since we are only 2.5 hours from Hohenwald Heather asked if we wanted to pick it up early. Jason Essary did a fine job of conducting the delivery day training and we are already home with our Oliver. We look forward to meeting you all at campsites in the future. Getting ready for Delivery Day! Not us....... the Olivers
Townesw replied to ScottyGS's topic in Delivery Day Photos
I think that trailer was sitting there when my wife and I toured the plant on October 27 and I asked why that trailer was different and was told that it belonged to Mr. (Jim?) Oliver.
