Steve, I tested my trailer this morning under the same conditions as yours: disconnected from TV, plugged into shore power, weight off both rear wheels. Before the test, I confirmed both wheels turned freely, then I pulled the pin on the Tekonsha breakaway controller. Testing each side had the same results - very slight movement permitted, followed up by braking action. After putting the pin back in both wheels turned freely again. I noted the wire to the breakaway box would not activate the pin at the full extension of my chain, so I lengthened the chain connection by one link and all was well. During towing, be sure the wire to the breakaway box is hooked to your TV, not the chain. (When I got mine from the factory, they had it connected to the chain, which wouldn't help if the chain somehow failed) While cruising the internet on your dilemma I noted some folks activate the breakaway controller and then take a compass and move it near the brakes. If you note compass needle swings as you do this it shows you've got magnetic power at the brake.

Oscar & I will be arriving early, on the 21st, to help Mountainborn catch some bait fish before the main event. Can't wait to see everyone!

Oscar & I just took a brief trip to Fredericksburg, TX. What a beautiful spring See the whole story at: http://peteandthewonderegg.blogspot.com ... owers.html

I've done it several time with the same results as at home . . . no problems. You did request the add on of the "Popcorn Lover's Super-de-Duper Guaranteed to Work Every Time Microwave," by Orville Readymaker didn't you? Perhaps your bags were defective and opened the end while cooking, letting the butter out.

AUBREY'S PLUG, a power cord cover solution
bugeyedriver replied to mountainborn's topic in Ollie Modifications
No to the round power cord door. We've got the rectangular white plastic one that's working fine for now. We hope to get there about the 21st and stay till the lake has been fished out . . . then it's on the the Little Plastic Trailers on Route 66 which starts on the 18th in Chicago. (this is not a thread hijack . . . this is not a thread hijack) -

Hey Aubrey! Oscar wants to know when Woodstock & Rascal will be getting to the Jugfest. He's "egging" me on to get there early & stay late . . . not a bad idea. He also has something for your new TV. -

Oscar says he wants to see moose in their natural habitat. I guess I'll have to humor him . . . -
Hill-a-Palooza 2010 Fiberglass RV rally
bugeyedriver replied to phil underwood's topic in Events & Rallies
Yes indeedy, them thar "horsey shoes" were in FACT seats from the throne . . . this was, after all, an official "Hill-a-Palooza" with a kinda hillbilly twist. With their shape being kinda similar to them itty-bitty ones some city folk use, the Underwoods thought we'd hurl them at the posts instead. After the first couple of tosses it was determined they needed some beefin' up cuz they were sorta breakin' apart so Phil grabbed some of that thar ducky tape stuff and wrapped 'em real good like and the games continued. "Ducky tape . . . don't leave home without it!" Here's our blog entry for the Hill-a-Palooza . . . http://peteandthewonderegg.blogspot.com/2010/03/hill-palooza-2010.html -
Hill-a-Palooza 2010 Fiberglass RV rally

That's jam49 pulling out in "Revilo" which is hull #44, one of the last ones made. It was great to have jam49 stop by the rally. In front of the truck, look beyond and you'll see another Texas Oliver, from Spring Texas. All together, there were three Ollies at the rally . . . ya'll come next year! -
Well, I didn't take any in the actual showroom area, but I managed to get a few of our egg camping outside the humongous show . . . http://peteandthewonderegg.blogspot.com ... -show.html

4/27 till whenever works great for Oscar & I . . . then we could go to the Bluebonnet Casita Rally which ends on the 4/25. Regardless of the dates, though, count us in the whole time. CATFISH here we come!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
If it started on the 27th, folks could attend the Bluebonnet Casita Rally and then scoot up to lake Greeson. Given that the full moon is the 28th of April, how far either side is good for catching catfish?

Gig Em Eggies?

I wouldn't be so quick, Tom . . . the more I watch you two guys around the campsite, the more similarities I am seeing . . . You both like the same corny jokes, you both have this burning desire to grow a beard, you both are married to fantastic women, you both feel right at home in your fiberglass egg, neither of you prefers spicy food, you both really enjoyed wearing tie-dye, you both like long walks on the beach, etc, etc, etc So don't be too sure
