Congrats on your install and getting rid of your “Demonic penguin”. You’re going to love being able to talk on the phone, not use ear plugs to sleep, watch a little tele or listen to some music. Great mod! What BTU is the Atmos? Where you able to use the original condensate inner hull OEM Olive drain lines?
Just as an FYI I sold my Demonic to a guy who needed an AC unit for his food truck. I put it on FB market place and it sold in 3 hrs for $600.00.

We bid Teton Valley Resort in Victor Idaho, and the Grand Tetons a fairwell today as we headed to Yellowstone NP. We managed to land a nice 20X60’ concrete pad with FHs which we will enjoy for 5 nights inside Yellowstone NP at Fishing Bridge.
Loops A, B, C, and D appear to older much tighter/cozy less desirable sites. Loop E is fairly new freshly paved, and very well laid out. It will make a great base camp for us to rest and enjoy the park.
The cooler weather camping and hiking just works for us!
Happy Travels from Hull #634 XPLOR
My bride and awesome navigator. 😍 So long Tetons!
A little interesting info about the glaciers.
We had to pull over and admire Lake Jackson on our way to YS…wow factor.
No complaints with regard to our 20X60’ concrete pad site with FHs! This is much more than we expected inside a NP.
Happy Base Camp!

The absolute most important thing is no one was hurt. I could not agree with you more on knowing your insurance policy 💯 and also having a dashcam. We have a Garmin Mini and it records everything in front of us. Like others, I am not surprised by the assistance provided to you by OTT, a really great group of folks.
Glad to hear that you are placing an order for a new Oliver!

FWIW..
Completed the last recommended torquing of my new Alcan 5 leaf pack 9/16 Ubolts at 596 miles. All 16 nuts were in spec and good to go except on which required a 1/4 turn.
I will recheck again whenever we decide to head back home to NC. Off to Yellowstone tomorrow.
Happy and Safe Travels!

The contact at the door manufacturer is mailing a couple of new pins. I’ll install them when I return home in December. In the meantime I’ll use some shims to meet the door from jamming.
Craig
@Galway Girl would you mind posting the contact info for new pins. I would like to order a few spares and surely others may as well.
Many Thanks!

@Patriot I can’t help but think that these MSRP markdowns to a lower NO HAGGLE PRICE as anything more than a marketing gimmick!
I am glad I don’t have to think about it. 👍🏻😊

We really like our 2020 OLEll and continue to really enjoy it. And we truly believe it’s the best TT made, and it has served us very well. However at the price today for a 24/25 model we would not likely be a player at today’s retail prices. This where I think the preowned market is good. The higher the price for a new Oliver, hopefully will help hold steady the prices in the preowned market.
I am really glad we purchased when we did and still feel like when the time comes we will do just fine with resale. A well kept, throughly documented and well maintained Oliver will still likely bring a decent price.
Good luck @roguebooks selling your E1, I hope it moves quickly for you.

I placed a plastic cap under the bottom off the hinge. This temp fix holds the door up to cleat the threshold.
i wonder what the bottom of that hinge is supposed to have under it? Is there a pin/bushing missing on mine? Anyone that can show a pix of a functioning bottom door hinge area would be a help
I have a ticket open for this..
I just took a look at my door and it doe not have a bushing under the hinge. It appears that the screw at the top and the screw at the bottom of the door are adjustment screws. My initial thought is if you loosen both top and bottom screws then retighten both screws while lifting the door up slightly in the process to achieve the clearance you need at the bottom lip of the door to get it to clear and close properly.
Please let us know what you learn from service.

Love it or hate it, I have seen a number of Olivers sold on FB -https://www.facebook.com/groups/OliverforSale
Used Oliver’s for sale here will also give you a general idea of what price range you should consider listing your Oliver as equipped.
The other positive comment I will add is that I have seen a lot of Oliver owners get answers to questions with in short order on the Oliver FB page fairly quickly I might add.
A huge thanks to @John Dorrer, Ruth Meilstrup and the Admin team and FB members, who all try and do a really fantastic job of going above and beyond helping out folks who are seeking knowledge or need immediate help with an issue be it large or small. Seems to me that is really what it’s all about just in a kind and decent way helping each other. The other real gain is the connections and friendships made with other Oliver owners.
Win win here! 👍🏻🇺🇸😊
Cheers and Happy Travels!

Was told by sales rep at recent RV show that this type leveler system did not work well with all twin axle trailers due to clearance or angle, was not familiar with this type leveler at that time, we have a Legacy Elite II 2025 on order hopefully early December delivery. Thinking we may pick it up at manufacturer instead of them shipping to our dealer, and would give us an opportunity to take factory tour, many have said it was worth the time.
excited to get it and trying to put together the essential item now.ve
I just installed the Beech Lane Leveling system on our OLEll and it really works well and actually has exceeded my expectations. Having used it each time on this western loop we are on, it has been spot on every time. Not bad for $80 and about a 10 minute install. Just my field experience so far. A big Congrats on your 2025 order! I would highly recommend the factory tour.

After a great nights rest at Teton Valley Resort here in Idaho, this morning we headed up to the Grand Tetons. Such a beautiful NP! We really enjoyed the scenic drive over Teton Pass. Soooo glad we have the diesel engine brake, as I rarely used our truck brakes at all. Ford nailed it with the 6.7 10 speed and diesel engine brake. After hiking up and around Jenny Lake a few hours we headed into Jackson Hole for lunch and of course hit a few T shirt shops and just walk around town. We walked into the Million Dollar Saloon which was kind of neat to see. We landed for lunch at place called “Hatch” Needless to say after a light breakfast we were both ravenous and the food was really fresh and delicious. We have 3 more nights here and plan to spend a lot more time touring and hiking in the Tetons before heading to Yellowstone. The temps are perfect! No AC needed at night as our low this morning was 49 and mid 70’s during the day.As you can tell by the park road entrance pic, it was not very crowded when we arrived, which is just the way we like it.Cheers and Safe Travels!Teton Valley Resort…nice digs and we are enjoying our stay here. It’s not very busy at all.The kinda road we like to see inside a NP. Less crowds, less people, less traffic on the road less traveled. We really enjoyed the cooler temps while hiking around Jenny Lake.Lunch at the Hatch… wow factor for the foodies we are. We were both hungry after our morning hike. The Elk Antler Arch…Our Beast of Burden doing Tremor things…The Beautiful Tetons are really amazing.

We have used our Beech Lane at every stop this trip. Not bad for $80 and it has been dead on. Handy for sure!

Note Truma manual states operation at an incline of over 4% can cause damage to the unit due to running the compressor dry.
That is correct. Keeping our trailer level is a high priority. 👍🏻 During this trip we have been using the Beech Lane leveling system. It works excellent.

Certainly the lack of humans is one of my favorite things when it comes to Wyoming, Idaho and Montana. Lots of places like this to enjoy.
Looks like great weather too with no smoke haze.
Bill
We could not ask for better weather. Epic!

After leaving Steinaker SP this morning we headed up 191 N towards Green River Wyoming. Just a beautiful drive seeing Mesa’s and Canyons all along the way. We took a walking tour of Flaming Gorge Dam along our route. The dam took 5 years to build was dedicated in 1964 by Lady Bird Johnson. Lots of history here and really worth a stop. The lake is stocked with lots of trout.
As we made our way towards up 191 we pulled off and had lunch. The vistas were amazing. We liked the complete solitude of our lunch spot, a highlight of our trip today. We are now in Wyoming and will leave for Idaho in the morning. The weather has been awesome.
Not sure if we could park here, but we did. 😊 A little way off the main highway.

Nice job! It’s just another one of the fasteners that may at times loosen up with the earth quake happening whileunder way.
I try and make it a point to check all the fasteners especially during a long trip. This morning I just completed a “snug tight”check on the pex connector white compression fittings below deck. I always manage to find one or two that just need a good hand tightening.

Ollie in the Wild.
Three days here at Steinaker SP in Vernal, Utah site #7 FHU site, and a gem of a place to stay. There is a local Walmart in Vernal for resupply. ✅Today we are off to check out and hike around the dinosaur national monument.
Thanks to our SL mini and excellent connectivity, we landed 5 nights at the Teton RV resort in Victor, Idaho. We also booked 5 nights inside Yellowstone NP at the Fishing Bridge CG with F/Hs. All of our reservations on this trip have been on the fly which how we roll. 😊
Just before sunset and our low last night in this high desert was a 41 and just perfect sleeping temps!
It’s so quiet here. More often than not for us, the best sound is silence and no crowds.
This morning with our SL mini deployed on the picnic table, a total changer on this trip.

Has anybody worked a permanent rooftop installation? I like the specs, IP67, wide temp range, wind speeds 60+ MPH.
Anybody wire Starlink Mini as WAN input to a router?
We did our Pepwave upgrade in Jan. Just 9 months ago Starlink was $2500 HW cost and no Mini. It’s now feasible!
Anybody use this yet for Zoom meetings? How is latency? (common in Sat connections) Thanks @Patriot
Based on how light and compact the Mini is, I wont be considering a permanent mount. The main reason is if I am parked where there are any obstructions I will have to move the mini to a northern unobstructed view for a solid satellite connection. Now this is just based on our experience so far on this trip. The SL mini has a reported latency of 23 milliseconds according to SpaceX. We have not used it for any zoom meetings, but we did stream the entire Presidential debate last night without any interruption issues.
I am going to keep it simple and deploy it from its carrying case. So far we are very pleased with the mini and it is serving our needs perfectly. One thing we have both noticed and really like is that it connects instantly to our (4) devices after plugging in the dish. Perfect!
Onward!

A few pics of Arches and Canyonland NPs. This time of the year it is best to get your time entry permit for as early in the morning as possible. The temps with the extreme low humidity made it really comfortable on our hikes in both parks.
Spectacular view and vistas for sure. Free entry with the America the Beautiful pass. 😊🇺🇸🇺🇸
The visitor center at Arches…we got there early. The parking lot was slammed when we departed and headed to Canyon Lands.
Balanced Rock at Arches.
This formation is called the 3 gossips at Arches.

Ollie in the Wild!
in Campgrounds & Parks
Posted · Edited by Patriot
After a great nights rest, we woke up to a 32d morning in our toasty warm Oliver. After a great hot breakfast, we loaded up in the beast and we were on the road to soak up America‘s first and oldest national park (1872). We are still pretty excited about being camped here inside the park. We enjoyed a day of touring and hiking around various areas of Yellowstone. We saw Bison, a wiley coyote, and a large black bear munching and lunching on a bison carcass from a distance (no pic as it was a blur from our vantage point) we saw lots of Osprey hunting.
The mud volcanos were pretty impressive to say the least. The “Dragons Mouth” appropriately named was really just amazing. The falls were thunderous as millions of gallons of water crashed down into the canyon. My pics and vids are mere teasers as to what we saw.
We have so much more to see and do in YS, we may extend, we’ll see. We have met and enjoyed so many nice people along the way. Tonight our temp drops down to 27d at 2am, no worries as our Oliver will keep us toasty warm.
Get out there and travel and camp! If not now when? 😊
Our beast of burden and mother natures beast of burden standing super still and just sleeping.
Full On!…..nap time. Kinda like us after our Bison corned beef sandwiches today. Ha!
Our attempt at a selfie at the lower falls.
We had all kinds of 2’ long lens pointed at our TV, this hot and tired coyote with a thick winter
coat was just wanting to get away from all the peeps and the cameras. Us too! 😊
A closer pic of another lone bison just trying to put on much needed winter fat.
The falls. Enjoy the what you can of my videos, no expert videographer here, just a work in progress.😊
