I am a retired marine biologist who worked for the State of Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission, Fish and Wildlife Research Institute for 35 years.  My wife is a gifted teacher in an elementary school.  And our dog is Grace, an English Cream Golden Retriever.   I also am the Executive Director for a Caribbean regional non-profit focused on marine conservation.  We have an AirBnB in the Florida Keys where we rent out two suites in our newly constructed home.  We also have an extensive tropical garden which includes over 6 varieties of mangoes, 9 varieties of bananas, 3 types of avocados, and many other plants including over 30 kinds of palms.  That is where we spend our spare time.
