  1. John Davies, you can add another Oliver camper to your list. We made our reservation on May 24, so we don't know how many vacancies are still available. Alan and Judy Wasik Strawberry Plains, Tennessee Campsite 30 Hull # 759 Looking forward to meeting everyone!
  2. I agree, the Obed is a special place. I have spent a lot of time there, and also at the Big South Fork (NPS), Frozen Head and Pickett State Parks in the Upper Cumberland Plateau area.
  3. The Obey and Obed are two separate rivers. The Obey river where rideandfly stayed is on the Dale Hollow Lake near the KY and TN state line. The Obed River is a NPS Wild and Scenic River located a little further south in Morgan and Cumberland counties of TN.
  4. Alberta and Randy, I had the same problem trying to figure out how to reinstall the egress window screen. The screen is mounted outside the widow channel using four metal clips. The clips snap into the edge of the plastic channel. Just hold the screen in place and push until you hear it snap. It took me several frustrating minutes to figure it out.

  6. Craig, I had noticed this setting in the app, John's repurpose does offer a great feature. I will give it a try in the morning. Thank you,
  7. NCeagle I like the idea of turning off the charger while still being on shore power. Could you share how you used the Xantrex software to turn the charger off and on. I have the 3000 watt inverter/charger with the Lithionics batteries. I downloaded the Xantrex app today, but did not see anything obvious in the settings to turn the charger off. Thank you
  8. For areas in TN I would recommend Montgomery Bell and Cumberland Mountain State Parks, both have golf courses. For something more off the beaten path Pickett S.P. and the Big South Fork NRRA (NPS park) are located northeast of Hohenwald on the Cumberland Plateau.
  9. Thanks to everyone for the nice welcome! I've been very fortunate to have had a career in parks, now I am looking forward to spending time camping in many of them, and exploring what other states have to offer. BlueHighways: I am very familiar with Burns TN, being originally from Dickson. John Davies: I have visited Deception Pass S.P. It has a cool museum on the history of the CCC. 10. Hello from East Tennessee, My wife and I are picking up our new Oliver Elite II next week and thought this would be a good time to introduce ourselves. I have been retired from state parks for a few years now and my better half is planning to work a little while longer. We are new to RV camping, so we plan to start with some short trips and eventually work up to traveling across the country. I grew up in Middle TN, so I am proud to know that our new Oliver camper is a Tennessee made product. I have found this forum to be a great source for information, and I look forward to meeting other Oliver owners in our travels. Alan & Judy Strawberry Plains, TN
