  1. Choosing Your “Oliver” Graphics Here at the plant we have several graphics that we work with. If you so desire, below is a website with 1,000’s of choices for the sides, front or tire cover. In most cases the side graphics will be included in the price with 2 color choices. For additional colors there is a slight charge. The “Oliver Legacy” comes standard with a front “Oliver Logo” and a smaller one on the rear tire cover. For a small fee we can also customize these locations. 1. https://www.vectorart.com/ – is a site where you can choose your graphics for the sides and front of the trailer. 2. http://www.oracal.com – this is the site that you can choose the colors for the graphics. On this site you need to look under the product line called “Graphic Marking Films. In this group you can choose from ORACAL 751 High Performance Cast and ORACAL 851 Premium Cast.
  2. Hello Everybody, I was just reading this tread when I realized Alex K lives in Washington. I have units there right now and have tried to PM Alex K and arrange a showing. I just thought I would post this in case someone else out there is looking to see one in the area. Give me a call…931-306-9523 Thanks, Robert
  3. I want to thank everyone on this forum. You have made my job much easier with all your help answering questions and helping out the new members find the info they need. I am sure the new set up will only improve everyones expereince that comes here. Thanks again and happy camping, Buffalo Bob
  4. As Bugeyeddriver stated we have incorparted airflow channels between the shells for the purpose of preventing a freeze up of the plumbing. Jim Oliver has had his units in 20 degree weather, leaving the furnace thermstat on 45-50 degrees prevented a freeze up because of the insulation and air flow between the shells. As for preventing a freeze up not using some kind of heat (propane or electric) I woundn't try it. If anyone has a suggestion I would be very interested. Thanks
  5. Hi all, Looks like my first post here may be my last. The new cost is indeed a shocker to me and a deal breaker as well. Later Gary
  6. Hello UGOJoe, Thanks for your interest. Out gassing of various products is a big concern to a lot of our customers. Fiberglass has come along way over the years and the products we use are the latest and finish out gassing in a matter of days, long before you pick up your trailer. We do not have any formaldehyde products that have recently been an issue. Please call me at 931-306-9523 and I’ll be glad to answer any questions you may have. Anyone else interested feel free to call me also. Thanks, Buffalo Bob Sales Manager “Oliver Trail Trailers”
  7. Well I was very interested in this and went to the site. It can drop the temp 20-30 degrees in less than 75% outside humidity. In my neck of the woods we have high humidity but not sure what percent. Now for a question that I did not find an answer to from my brief visit to the site. What is the water cunsumption rate? Water is valuble commodity in dry camping. Inquiring minds want to know.
  8. Hello World, Well, it’s been a while since I’ve had a chance to post. VERY BUSY HERE…I have been following the “Tumbleweed & Mountainborn fishing exploits” and have some input like the others on a few points. Movies from Mountainborn- I have been telling him he needs to get a new camera or something to improve the quality of the pictures and movies. Now, after reading Pete’s ‘Movie Review and Comments” I have a new fondness and appreciation of his unique filming style. It’s wonderful with its “Blair Witch” style and flair, leaves a lot to the imagination. Yet the “Jason Mask” and chain saw is a bit much. Folks, he’s giving you an impression of an evil man but I think the truth is (ButcherKnife can confirm or dispel this) is that he’s really a “Big Ole Teddy Bear”. Subject Matter of His Movies- is it just me or is the content usually of …Here’s ButcherKnife cooking breakfast, here’s ButcherKnife catching fish, here’s ButcherKnife cooking the fish, here’s Chuck catching the fish and so on. Mountainborn, other than filming what do you do? Does your creative filming ability suffer if you catch the fish or cook it etc… Well, there are more questions but I’ve gotta go for now. Take care everybody and “Happy Camping” while I sit in this hot and Dusty Plant dreaming of someday having my own “Little Ollie”.
  9. For your intended use we can actully add another layer of "thinsulate" between the 2 shells giving you a third layer of insulation. Call me for more info if you like.
  10. I have not seen one yet. I did have a customer make a comment about how wide it was. I think it's like 8ft wide compared to our 6'6". Somebody that knows for sure correct me if I'm wrong about this.
  11. We can do this. Many of our customers have pets and I have often wondered where we could put a little pet house. We could put a false floor in the closet and make an entry way where the floor light is. Just give me the go ahead and we'll fix you up.
  12. Just guessing it will be something in a hammock type style. I say this mostly because we would have to do a new mold to make it a standard type bed and this can cost $50,000 to $100,000 to make. Hopefully more to follow in the future. Thanks
  13. Fabric choices…yes, well where do I start. We have about a hundred choices here to look at, some we have bought and have available and the rest can be ordered. From this amount I can not get 2 people to agree on the same one. (and this is both male and female opinions ) The nation’s largest manufacture is Gum Tree but, don’t look for a website with choices because it does not exist . I asked them why…. “Well, we have around 10,000 choices and every day we have new designs and discontinue others. It would be a logistical nightmare to try and have a website with all the details.” So, here I sit more confused and frustrated trying to find something that will appeal to the masses. I say it can’t be done, so what we do offer is for the customer to find what they want and either buy it and ship it to the “Cushion Man” and we reimburse you $120.00 or give us the information on what you found and we will obtain it. If it runs over the $120.00 we will bill you the difference. This has really worked well for us and the customer but is always open to suggestions. The requirements are 60” width by 15 yards long. Please contact me at 1-888-526-3978 and I will help you as much as possible. Thanks, Robert
  14. Very good pictures Pete. I just sent them to "Trailer Life Magazine" of which will be running a feature on the "Oliver Trailer". This will be your chance to be "Published". p.s. Whats the tongue weight limit on bugeyes?
  15. Still in R&D at this time. I will make a post as soon as its available but it will be awhile.
  16. This link will take you to the photos... http://s262.photobucket.com/albums/ii120/robertpartee/twin%20beds/
  17. I think retirement is going to fit you rather well. I here Oscar is ready to roll too! What's your next trip plans and when is your last day?
  18. perhaps the answer lays within the subject of the video's.
  19. Hey Phil, The colored units were developed for the Las Vegas show, you know the glitz and glammer thing going on there. Those were painted but if someone ordered another it would be mixed into the gel coat. That still leaves alot to be done by hand and makes it abit pricey.
  20. Permit me to stick my neck out just alittle farther... If ya'll handle the detail's for this gathering, I'll see about getting it “Officially Sponsored” by Oliver. Did I mention ya'll handle the details??? I'm thinking along the lines that we'll supply the catfish and fix'ns for the banquet, ya'll think of someone that might have a little experience to cook it . We'll provide the event T-shirts, ya'll find someone to design it. A few door prizes, a banner and you've got the "makins fer a sho nuff hoe down". What say you? As always, your humble servant, BuffaloBob
  21. Ya'll are starting to sound like my teenage boys...lol O.K. Meanderthal and Bugeyedriver...after carefully reviewing all the data, endless committee meetings and checking for "hanging chads" the Official standing of the Company is that ya'll will be the 1st “Company Sponsored Multiple New Oliver Owners Delivery and Shake Down Overnighter Rally at NACO Campground of Hohenwald TN for 2008” There, does that help?
  22. WOW...I just spent an hour looking at all your pictures. Every thing looked so beautiful and it just sceams "Fun"! The kids must still be talking about that weekend. It also shows what type of terrain the "Oliver" can handle. When I first saw how many people go on your trips I had woundered how you sleep everyone with just the "Oliver". I see that really neat looking older model trailer, is that the "Bunk House"? Appears to to be in really good shape, what year and brand is that? I'm working on setting up a Photobucket.com account where owners can post their own albums of trips. We have several new owners with great photo skills. Last but not least, do you think there's enough room on your property for an "Oliver Ralley"? Take care and thanks for sharing the photos. Buffalo Bob
  23. Hey Lisa, You must have shown that to Jim (Oliver). A few days back we got a call to be looking for a soap dispenser. Our purchasing agent would love to know the product information so we can look into that here. Still here and still listening to what the customer wants as always. Robert
  24. It's that "wild" driving you do Mountainborn lol...
