  1. A lot of issues actually can be resolved over the phone. Sometimes it’s a proper usage, setting, reset or something simple like that. All the major components A/C, Refrigerator etc… are warranted by the manufacturer and can be serviced by any authorized dealer. We provide a full year warranty on workmanship. We have technicians that can assist over the phone at other repair facilities about issues particular to the “Oliver” and if it is a warranty item we will pay them. I hope this clears up any questions but if not, just ask. Thanks, Robert
  2. The rear is desighned to hold a regular full size mattress. It's 74" x 56". Lot's of our customers keep the rear bed in place like you mentioned. Hope that helps. Robert
  3. Yes, we have a control panel to make the necessary changes just be sure to bring your reciever.
  4. A lot of research went into the frame design. The backbone of the trailer is the use of a 2”x5” box aluminum with welded aluminum cross members. Towards the front area leading to the hitch is additional reinforcement with the 2”x5”as well. This creates a solid frame that resists flexing and encourages the trailer to track behind the tow vehicle. Then for even more strength the lower outer shell actually fits over the frame with channels designed into the mold. Fiberglass is very strong as many of you know. With these features it’s been the experience of most people that they do not require a sway control system or a load distribution devise. (The extendable tongue) With this said I must point out that many other factors such as the tow vehicle, how the trailer is loaded etc… factor in. At the plant I suggest to new owners that this is their decision, try it out and if it’s needed, then add them on. I think we all agree that safety must be 1st so do as you feel is best. I’ve loaded up some pictures at our Photobucket site under “frame” that will show you the difference in our frame and what's commonly used by some of the other trailer manufactures. http://s262.photobucket.com/albums/ii12 ... tee/Frame/
  5. That's what I call a "Postcard" Perfect picture! Digital or 35 mm.
  6. As you know, Jim wants the best quality he can for the trailer. Currently the door to the "power shoreline" is the one item he is still not 100% satified with. What you see is "a stainless steel custom built proto type" option we are looking at. I'll let you know when I have anything else to report. Thanks for asking. P.S. You must have been using a magnifying glass to spot that one Mountainborn.
  7. Jim and Evon Oliver are planning a trip up to Alaska this spring and another couple have mentioned going also. Anybody else interested?
  8. I like the "DVD" idea. I am currently working on a "power point" presentation for plant tours. The wife is helping me with this project having several years experience with with the program. ( I'm trying to get her the moniker "ButterKnife"...) I would think that this would transfer to DVD pretty easy. Maybe even include a copy with the "Brochure" request like you mentioned. Good ideas and as always...Yes, we are listening. Keep the ideas coming in. We might have to give away prizes for the one's we use. What say you?
  9. Billy appreciates your kind words. But, don't let the boss know that it's not our "hard work" that sells them. It really sells itself as you learned. It's not what everybody wants but, there are plenty of people that do and so here we are. Speaking of fishing, what type do you prefer? Here in Hohenwald, TN I have the "Buffalo River" just 50 yards in front of my porch. With the "TVA" dam's all over the place there's lots of channel Kat, S/L/M Bass, trout streams and something called Souger, sawger??? I don't know how to spell that one. Maybe Mountainborne can help me out there? Anyway, plan on staying a few days on our "dime" when you come to pick up your unit. Bring a rod and We can point you in a direction. Thanks for your support and part in the "Oliver Legacy".
  10. Hey there Herschel, These Rallies are the backbone (along with "ALL" the Fiberglass Forums) that has lead to the developement of the "Eggolution" as we now know it. I encourage RV'ers with all types of TT's or those interested in obtaining a TT to attend these events for several reasons. 1st- It's a great way to meet people that enjoy the carefree life style of going where you want, when you want and share all your experiences with others like... Have you been to so and so, it's a beautiful drive and you have to check out this "BBQ" joint if your in the area. If your ever around (fill in the blank) and like to line dance you have to go by... The best fall colors I've ever seen is on this route during... Have you ever seen the sunset (or rise) at ..... and much more. 2nd- You can learn from others about all the neat little ideas that can increase the pleasure you get with your own TT and TV. (Regardless of Brand) 3rd- To have some fun and besides, you have to be doing something right? Why not a Rally? I'm sure this years Rally will be a great success and I encourage everyone that can to attend.
  11. As you mentioned we are waiting for the solar panel to do a dry run for fit and placement. As you can imagine we want to measure twice (if not 3 or 4 times) and cut ONLY once. Right! Anyway, as soon as that arrives everything else is in and ready. We all here at the plant are eager to get rolling on this unit. So many features, we love a challenge and this is the best one yet to come our way. We just hope the government doesn't get wind of this project and commandeer it for "National Security" purposes...lol... Then the photo progression can resume. Stay tuned folks, this one will be very informative and fun to watch being built! Maybe the "expectant papa" will let us in on his schedule of "Egg Rallies" for those that want to see it in person.
  12. Welcome to Oliver Forums ! Please take a few minutes to tell us a bit about yourself, then wade right on in ! My screen name is mountainborn, my grandma' gave it to me, she did it in a poem. There is a story behind that, many "handles" have a good story behind them, seems like. My wife's screen name is Butcherknife, she "earned" her handle while cooking breakfast one early Spring morning on Lake Greeson. There's a story behind that one too. We live in West Central Arkansas. We both still are in America's workforce and looking forward to retirement. Here we are in the "Delivery Bay" at the factory in Hohenwald Tennessee. Photo by Jared Rose, who then was at that time the Sales manager at Oliver.
