  1. Based on the brochure, about four feet, That's based on guessing the rear bumper is about 18" And, John has faster fingers than me. 😉
  2. Maybe my memory is worse than I thought. Wasn't there a thread to collect RV related sales posted by (I think) @Katjo? We're hoping to snag some goodies on sale before our March pickup.
  3. Time to change that signature! 😀
  4. I saw that and also was concerned. We don’t yet k ow where we’ll store our trailer so haven’t installed a 30 Amp line. Probably won’t before our March 29 delivery, either. Hopefully the low enter sun here in Ohio will keep them topped off.
  5. Thanks for the heads up Ken. From the Etrailer photos on the Tundra and Sequoia it looked pretty tucked underneath. I don’t have my trailer yet, and not sure where I’m going to park it at this point, either. So I may not need one anyway.
  6. The biggies are a compressor fridge (and accompanying outside fold-down table) in the new vs electric/propane absorbsion fridge in the previous years. Victron replacing Zamp for the solar controller ( and hopefully but not likely more of the electrical system.) And lastly, with the optional Truma AC is the Truma furnace along with the previously available Truma inline water heater. There are more differences, but I think these three were the only major changes.
  7. According to their post on the Facebook group, the owners of #1292 took delivery Friday, and have the very last 2022 model built. It also looks like some of the 2023 features have been rolled out over these last trailers. #1289 has the Victron controller, and Rivernerd's #1291 has the new Truma furnace. I haven't seen anyone with the new compressor fridge yet. Here's hoping any problems with the new bits get ironed out by our March 29th delivery. And thank you to the new beta testers! 😉
  8. Curt #31198? That's the only front mount I've found for the LC. Thanks!
  9. Me!! 🤣 When we sent in our first half check last week, Anita estimated that they will be about hull number 1361 by March 29th. We'll see how close she is in 139 days. 😉
  10. Congratulations on your new delivery! I look forward to your travels and hope that you enjoy it as much as you'd hoped. 140 days left for us! Safe travels, Steve
  11. We have yet to receive our new Oliver, but I had the same concern while trying out the model in the showroom. With my picky back, the dinette just didn't work. So I tried a couple of experiments. One, was to tilt the bottom of the back cushion out an inch or so. This helped tremendously, but also reduced butt room. I plan to add Velcro to the back side of the cushion, and cut a small pool noodle and add velcro to it. That will create the reclined position on the dinette. The other thing I tried was to add a footrest. One of the small bed backrest pieces fits perfectly across the lower kitchen drawer top. At only 5'8", I can comfortably sit with the back reclined a bit (using the above tilted backrest) and my feet up at a comfortable angle. How this will work out in real world use is yet to be seen. We have two different style outdoor chairs that are both very comfortable, and in a pinch, either will fit inside for inclement weather. I hope that helps a little, Steve
  12. Yep, sorta like daylite savings time. Take some water from one end of the tank and put it back in the other, therefore, saving water! 😉 These blogs all look like they were copy/pasted from some RV industry promotional literature, with very few of them having to do with Oliver specifically. 15 gallon black tank more than most other travel trailers??
  13. I just got off of the phone with Anita, and our final build list has been entered. All that's left is to write a check for half the remainder and wait almost five months. Here's where we're at right now: - Oliver Legacy Elite II Twin Bed - Standard Mattresses (third party mattresses after receipt) - Standard Fabric - Midnight - Hypervent - Omnidirectional Antenna (local weather etc. if we don't have cell service) - Street Side Awning - Frosted Cabinet Doors - Convection Microwave - 20 Gallon Propane (to keep tongue weight down) - Front/Rear Propane Quick-Connects - Standard Toilet (with possible AirHead composting replacement) - Full Truma Package AC, Furnace, Water Heater and Antifreeze kit - Lithium Platinum Package - Backup Camera - Rear Bumper Receiver (to be converted to 2" after receipt) - Anderson Hitch - Aluminum Storage Basket - Basement Door - No Graphics
  14. I've seen both recommended. But the general consensus seems to be to use two separate fill ports. This prevents any "sloshing" back and forth of air, keeping the vehicle stiffer, prevents both sides failing if one hose leaks, and allows for leveling of the vehicle with separate fill ports. (The latter more important to off road vehicles with roof top tents, but still an oft mentioned reason.) I haven't installed mine yet, but unless convinced otherwise, will use two separate fill ports.
  15. Thanks Bob, That's $50 per mattress more than I was quoted August 20, with shipping to Ohio then at $304. I'll be making my first half payment and final build with Oliver this week, and then likely order the KTT mattress. We want to stop in at Original Mattress Factory first, to see what they could build for us. Thanks for the price update
  16. The Lance 1475 is way too small for two people. We had the 1575 on order in 2017 before cancelling. The 1475 would be ideal for one person. I'd take one of the swivel chairs out and make the table a bit bigger. That was before Lance was bought by whichever conglomerate owns them now. I've read quality problems on the newer models.
  17. I don’t have a Griptillion, but I do have a Benchmade made Emerson CQC7 model 970. Superb quality and great blade material. Only thing I’d change is the single-sided bevel. A friend has a discontinued Benchmade I wish I’d snagged. Similar to the Griptillion, but with a hard rubber scale instead of the current wonder plastic.
  18. Yea, I knew they would only fit in my mind. But I have no interest in cobbling together a different alternative.
  19. Ug! Those are bright and not at all attractive!! The bronze heritage wheels (pictured) are what's already on my Land Cruiser originally, so I have a desire to have matching wheels on the trailer.
  20. If only there was a 5 X 150mm bolt pattern option! I've got a lead on a set of five Heritage wheels to match those on my Land Cruiser. That bronze would be gorgeous on the white trailer! (Toyota press photo)
  21. Welcome! That's a great looking combination you have. As you've already found, there's a wealth of information here, and wonderful people more than willing to share. Numbers are going up fast! I don't think we'll be 1313 come March 28th, since they're building the trailers os quickly. If we were 1313, I was going to name the trailer Mockingbird. 🤪
  22. Now all I need is the table top. And... a trailer. Only 5+ more months!!
  23. A lot of the overland style trailers are well over 15’ or even 24’. The Kimberley Kruiser T class is over 24’, and they’ve been to several Expos as exhibiters and camping with other Kimberley’s.
  24. I just ordered two items mentioned on various threads here that are on the Prime Early Access sale. The Progressive Industries SSP-30X is 15% off, and the Kamenstein Perfect Tear Paper Towel Holder is about half price. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015G2YYN0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0024AKCTS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The Squatty Potty folding step isn't on the prime sale, but does have a 20% off coupon, so added it to the order. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HSR1DHM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Alos not on the Prime sale, but added to my order is an adjustable water pressure regulator that's been linked here at 13% off with an additional 5% coupon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N7JZTYX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 There may be other items on the Prime sale of interest to Oliver owners, but these were the ones in my Oliver list. I hope this helps someone else save a few pennies.
