Slow shower drain

I am an Ollie newby and my shower is drain super slow and it is only two days of use. Any ideas what I should check? No hair, debris blocking from what I can see. Thanks for any comments.

Is your shower drain valve fully opened? Many of us have experienced "wet feet" when we forgot to open, or fully open, the shower drain valve.

I second the partially open valve. We did that once too!

I checked and it is open. I am wondering if problem is due to not being perfectly level- curbside a bit low. We leave tmw and will dump tanks. Maybe that should help?

Tank monitors are not necessarily accurate, especially if not level with the horizontal tanks. 

Let us know how it is after you dump.

Was it a problem when you first used the shower, or is this recent?

We've had the shower valve "stick" from time to time, when we forget to work and lube it. Ours must be out a good 2 1/2 to 3  inches or more, to be fully open. (Ours is a much older trailer, so others with newer trailers could give better advice/measurements. )

Hard to troubleshoot with no hull info in the signature. Took time to click on the user, and it’s a brand NEW hull! Gray valve closed or shower floor drain closed?

Was it working last week, last month? How many days camping so far? Hard to advise with info provided.

I had the same issue on my 2021 LE2....with the trailer level the shower drains very slow and backs up.

The work around is to use the front jack to raise the trailer one inch or more above level. You can experiment to find the workable amount for your trailer. When raised, my shower drains fast.

So, I raise  the trailer before using the shower and lower it back afterwards...wish it was not so...but part of the Oliver design experience !

After dumping and leveling- seems to be ok now. Will report back later is it is still an issue. Thanks to all for comments.

That's good news. 

Long showers (defining long as over a few gallons/minutes) will fill the grey tank quickly. And, it will "think" it's full even before it is, if out of level.

Keep us posted, as you continue your travels.  The seelevel gages also are notorious for reporting incorrect values, if out of level . 

When we travel, we work strictly from the tank. When fresh water is pretty empty, grey is likely pretty full.

This is most likely a good part of your problem. Raise the front of your trailer a few degrees. This makes the water in the gray tank run toward the rear of the trailer and the air bubble in the tank to move forward toward the front of the trailer. This is where your gray tank vent pipe is attached and it will facilitate easier entry of the water plus exit of the air.
