Stuck Table Leg fix?

Has someone had an issue with the table leg refusing to pop free from the aluminum plate socket attached to the underside of a table top? Haven’t had this problem before but now it won’t budge. Appreciate any suggestions…

The leg/cap rotates freely within the socket.

I've noticed that you have not received any replies to your question.

Perhaps others are having a bit of the same difficulty that I'm having in understanding exactly what you are having trouble with.  Pictures might help.  Which Ollie do you have to include the year and floor plan.  Have you tried a bit of WD-40 or anything else of that nature?

Get someone else to wiggle the Post (leg) and try to twist it while you are holding the table top with the post being horizontal.

Once free clean it up and put some WD-40 on the post as Bill suggested.

I have an 2017 Elite I and it is the two-person table that has the issue. Have tried spraying WD40 into the socket and also wrapping the leg in ice to ‘shrink’ the metal. The leg rotates freely in the socket and I now think the little riveted clip at the top of the leg is failing to depress enough to allow the leg to come free from the table-plate socket. Maddeningly simple problem, lol!

That connection can be a sticky one and I've had the same issue.
What works for me is to keep the leg attached at the floor, position yourself facing the window, up against the table, back straight, and give that table a good quick lift.
If it comes free I would recommend paraffin over trusty WD-40 to lubricate the connection. On my leg, it's just a plastic cap over the aluminum leg with a single metal spring clip. Rub the paraffin all over that and you should be good to go. Don't be afraid to reef on that connection to get it to come off.
