Commanche
Our son took this picture of a Cormorant, just taking off, while we were on a trip to Mexico for our 50th anniversary, which the kids paid for. (our kids are the best) A week in Mexico with the 3 kids and their families was a fun time. Carol thought the picture of that bird taking off was appropriate for that open space between the windows. We had a local sign shop make the decals from the picture we emailed them and they also applied it to the trailer. We are pleased with the end result. I have another idea to display the number 6314 or 1463 in script maybe on 2 lines on the back of the trailer, at a slant. The 63 is the hull number and the 14 is the year of manufacture. Still considering the options, but I think the sign shop could make a nice decal. Moderators Mike and Carol Posted August 31, 2016 Moderators Share Posted August 31, 2016 Stan, looks good. I'm all in favor of personalizing our trailers. I'll add a few pics of what we're doing.... Our hull number and logo. Replaced Legacy Elite... With Lone Star This is so we'll know which one is ours! Not "art" like yours but we're getting there! Thanks for posting. Try2Relax
Stan, That photo is perfect, and your wife has a great eye for placement. The heart shaped shadow looks spectacular, is that original or was it edited at all, absolutely perfect timing of not. Was the decal done in vinyl, so in theory it could be removed and reapplied or is it adhesive backed? Is the decal form cut out is it like a square sticker? It really looks fantastic on there. Commanche
Mike, I like how you have your name by the door, kind of puts a friendly invitation to your camp sight. Randy, The shadow was part of the photo, and yes, it was cut out of thin vinyl, I guess. To apply it, she pulled the backing off and used a straight edge to press to the side of the trailer. This place did all the lettering on our fire trucks and do a really nice job. Moderators topgun2 Posted August 31, 2016 Moderators Share Posted August 31, 2016 Stan, Nice picture, nice transfer, nice look. However, has Gunner seen it yet? He better like it or half the side of your Oliver will be gone.
