Moderators SeaDawg Posted March 19, 2018 Moderators Posted March 19, 2018 Wow, you're right. Seasucker is really expensive. When we couldn't decide where to mount our $8 paper towel holder, we used a few pieces of industrial Velcro for a few months... Then fastened it through the bottom of the cupboard with a few stainless fasteners. Guess we saved about $55. I like the ideas. Just not the pricetags.... Raspy Posted March 19, 2018 Posted March 19, 2018 Sherry, I agree. I mounted ours over the sink and bolted it through into the cupboard above with a couple of #10 stainless screws and nuts. Simple. Cheap. It will never fall off. I never really trust suction cups and don't need to spend more than necessary. John John "I only exaggerate enough to compensate for being taken with a grain of salt." Moderators topgun2 Posted March 20, 2018 Moderators Posted March 20, 2018 Yes! I mounted my paper towel holder with 3M tape the day I took delivery and it hasn't moved an inch in all these months/years since. Also, I've used the collector bin from an old paper shredder that broke for a trashcan. This bin is just the right size to hold those plastic grocery bags and given that it is a rectangle it doesn't stick out into the isle. On just those two items I saved enough money to make for a health supply of wine and beer for another trip or two or three or..... However, they sure are slick looking.
