John E Davies Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 This is a really interesting and scary tale of a terrible accident that totaled their truck, ripping the rear suspension out completely, and what it took to get back on the road. Well worth reading, it might prepare you for your own wreck one day. Fingers crossed. Much. “As stated in our Frequently Asked Questions, Truck Camper Magazine reviews are wholly independent and posted without notice or review by the industry until publication. However, the manufacturers are invited to submit a manufacturer’s response to be immediately published, without edit, the following publishing date.” John Davies Spokane WA 1 2 1 SOLD 07/23 "Mouse": 2017 Legacy Elite II Two Beds, Hull Number 218, See my HOW TO threads: Tow Vehicle: 2013 Land Cruiser 200, 32” LT tires, airbags, Safari snorkel, Maggiolina Grand Tour 360 Carbon RTT.

Frank C Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 Thanks for sharing John. That’s quite a story. Glad that no one was injured. Stuff can be replaced. Hard to believe how much bad luck can happen within a short time on one trip. Things like this are the reason I’m adding a dash camera before we head out on our next trip in the early spring. 3
Trainman Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 Being a retired Body Shop Mgr. for some 30 years for a large DFW Chevrolet Dealer I have pretty much seen it all over time. We always tried to help the customer as much as we could, stranded people away home is very uncomfortable displaced feeling. So insurance companies do help there insured better them others, if it's liability claim you best do what you have to do and get your money back latter in the settlement. trainman 1 2019 RAM 1500, 5.7 Hemi, 4X4, Crew Cab, 5'7" bed, Towing Package, 3.92 Gears.
