Frank C
An Airstream concept trailer. No production date projected, and combining Airstream and Porsche means this will be a REALLY expensive little trailer. https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a43234914/airstream-porsche-camping-trailer-concept-sxsw/ 5 2019 Oliver Legacy Elite II - Hull #461 Tow Vehicle: 2019 Ford F-250 SuperCab 4x4, 6.2L Flex-Fuel engine
HDRider
From your link Rather than a rounded rear end like other Airstreams, the concept features a truncated, flat design that's better for aero. The trailer's completely flush underside is yet another attempt at making it more aerodynamic. 2 E II under construction - Due August 2023 TV - 2015 Duramax
MAX Burner
it’s definitely aerodynamic - concur that an Airstream/Porsche design team will ensure this rig will not be a cheap date…. That’s a lot of bitcoin riding on a single axle! 3 Art, Diane, & Magnus (Aaarrf!) 2022 TUNDRA/2017 LE II; Hull #226 "Casablanca", Twins; 3x Battle Borns; HAM call-sign: W0ABX
Moderators SeaDawg Posted April 28 Moderators Share Posted April 28 Likely will never happen. We'll see. It's a concept, and lovely. That rear "patio" would totally be a disaster in the east, bug country, however.. The raised roof reminds me of a hymer/eriba puck redesign. A legend in its time, the eriba puck was (and still is, if you can find one) one of the coolest little trailers ever built, imo. Hymer brought out a redesign, but it only lasted a few years in north America. I saw one at tampa rv supershow. Tiny, but extremely cool. Maybe airstream will call it the nest, v2, if it ever materializes?? Sad that Airstream blew that one up. 2 2008 Ram 1500 4 × 4 2008 Oliver Elite, Hull #12 Florida and Western North Carolina, or wherever the truck goes.... 400 watts solar. Dc compressor fridge.
