HDRider
Am I correct thinking one cannot set the AC fan to only run when the compressor is running, like a home unit? I just thought it was odd that the fan could not, or would not match the compressor. 1 Jeff & Cindy - NE Arkansas - 2023 Legacy Elite II - Twin Bed - Hull #1423 TV - 2015 Silverado 2500 Duramax 4x4

Ollie-Haus
This is a topic that is discussed on multiple forums and also YouTube regarding the inability to control humidity with RV AC units that run the fan continually. Unfortunately the design principal of having the temperature control sensor mounted in the plenum air stream for the purpose of cycling the compressor relegates the owner to a life of cycling humidity levels in exchange for constant air circulation. I know it would likely add considerable cost to the AC system but wouldn't it be nice of they would design the units with a variable speed fan that ramps up and down to control temperatures in the cabin and thus allow the compressor to run longer and eliminate the short on/off cycles that result in humidity spikes. 4 What's today?............. the most frequently asked question as a retiree 🙄 Chris and Stacie Neuhaus Greenfield, Indiana 2021 Ford F350 7.3L Tremor (Redzilla) LE2 #1373 - Ordered 10/21/22 - Delivered 05/10/

Many European and Australian sold units use a variable speed compressor. Eventually, we'll get it here. 3 2008 Ram 1500 4 × 4 2008 Oliver Elite, Hull #12 Florida and Western North Carolina, or wherever the truck goes.... 400 watts solar. DC compressor fridge.
