Every Oliver camper is hand-built in molded double-hull fiberglass on an aircraft-grade aluminum frame. The holding tanks, plumbing and heat ducting are enclosed inside the insulated shell instead of hanging under the floor.

A travel trailer is an RV you tow behind a pickup or SUV and unhitch at camp, so the tow vehicle is free for day trips. People also call them camper trailers, pull-behind campers or bumper pulls.
Oliver makes three models. The smallest is the 18'5" Legacy Elite, at about 3,700 pounds dry. The 24' Legacy Elite II and Apex X23 share a hull and the same two floor plans, and the Apex is set up for off-grid camping with a 48V lithium power system and roof solar as standard.

The Apex X23 is built for owners who treat the end of the pavement as the start of the trip. It has a 48V lithium power system with roof solar as standard, heavy-duty shocks and leaf springs, and mud-grip 10-ply tires with a full-size spare.

Legacy Elite, 18' 5" Single Axle
At 18'5" on a single axle, the Legacy Elite is the smallest camper we build. The rear dining table converts into a queen bed, so the same space works for meals, lounging or sleeping, and the kitchen and bath with shower are standard.

Travel Trailer Floor Plans
The Legacy Elite II and Apex X23 are built on the same hull and share its two floor plans. The Legacy Elite has one of its own. Each plan appears twice, set up for the day and made up for sleeping.

What's the difference between a travel trailer, a camper and an RV?
RV is the umbrella term. It covers motorhomes, which have their own engine, and towables such as fifth wheels and travel trailers. A travel trailer hitches to a ball mount on the back of a pickup or SUV, while a fifth wheel needs a hitch in a pickup bed. Camper is the loosest of the three words, and people use it for all of them.
How much does an Oliver travel trailer weigh?
On a base model, the Legacy Elite weighs about 3,700 pounds dry, the Legacy Elite II about 4,900 and the Apex X23 about 5,400, and options add to that. GVWR, the most each trailer is rated to weigh loaded, is 5,000 pounds for the Legacy Elite and 7,000 for the other two. Check that number against your tow vehicle's towing capacity. Tongue weight is about 370 pounds on a base Legacy Elite and 490 on a base Legacy Elite II.
What floor plans does Oliver offer?
There are three floor plans across two hull sizes. On the Legacy Elite II and Apex X23 you choose between a standard layout, where the rear dinette makes up into a king bed, and a twin bed layout with two twin beds in the back. The Legacy Elite has one floor plan, with a rear dinette that makes up into a queen bed. In every layout the side dinette also converts to a bed, so each model sleeps up to 3. Can you camp in an Oliver travel trailer in winter?
Yes, as long as the furnace is running. The holding tanks, plumbing and drain lines sit enclosed inside the insulated shell, so furnace heat reaches them. Leave the trailer cold for days in a hard freeze and that enclosed plumbing will freeze like any other, and if it's going into storage unheated, winterize it. Does every Oliver have a bathroom?
All three models have a bath with a shower, toilet and vanity, the 18'5" Legacy Elite included. It sits at the front of the trailer in every floor plan.
