  1. http://www.facebook.com/groups/OllieOwners/ For those that have requested a private Facebook group for Oliver Owners only, I have created one again. This will be exclusively for Oliver Travel Trailer Owners only. A group where we can share info, help each other, share our adventures, plan mini Oliver Travel Rallies etc...in a private setting. If you would like to be included in this private group, please click on the link above and request to join. You will need to prove that you own an Oliver to be accepted as a member. I will send you a Facebook Message Request asking for your Hull# and Model. Check your message requests! If you would like to be an admin or moderator, share in the responsibilities of running the group, be an official contributor, I would love the help. Just let me know. Thank you, Karen Lukens

  2. 2 different forums for 2 different things, basically for me, Karen started the facebook forum so that we can share emails, phone #'s and set up places to meet with other owners while not having to worry about who is seeing my personal info. Would I put my email, phone # or personal address on this forum? No, it's public. The facebook forum is for meeting up, sharing, and emergencies, at least that's what I'm thinking anyway. Still on facebook nobody sees your info unless you friend them. To me this forum is the technical and learning all about Oliver and what it has to offer. Definitely this is a great forum on a national level. If you break down in my neck of the woods, I will be there and on the facebook forum, I have all of my info public and a map with us all marked for general locations is coming. Oliver owners are family and that's how I live life and why we have our info out there if you need it or need some immediate help :) One is public, one is personal, is there a need for both? Only time will tell :) Reed

  3. Hi, It doesn't have to be a hull#, you are right, ours is under construction and I don't have one yet either. It's just a group for owners or almost owners like myself, so some sort of info is needed.

  4. GOOD NEWS Natchez Trace Campground has agreed to offer us a 20% discount on campsites again this year. ?To receive the discount, you need to mention you are attending the Oliver Travel Trailer Rally, give your name and the number in your party (needed for planning purposes). There are lakeside sites available but for convenience you may want to request a campsite in the area nearest the Town Hall. This campground is quite large. GREAT NEWS Oliver Travel Trailer Company will graciously and generously pick up a number of expenses for the rally. Most of our meal costs that includes a BBQ cookout ??Friday evening and a Cinco De Mayo Fiesta ?Saturday evening will be sponsored by Oliver Travel Trailers. In addition, Oliver will pay the cost of the rental of the "Town Hall" where most of our meetings will be held. A Big "SHOUT OUT" to Oliver Travel Trailers ! THANKS Hardrock

  5. Everyone should know that this Rally (as opposed to the first Oliver Rally) is really an Owner's Rally. Hardrock has already spent numerous hours in coordinating with the folks at Oliver and various campgrounds in trying to arrange dates, places, sponsorship, activities, etc. A big thanks should be sent Coy's way for getting this thing off the ground! And, since it is an Owner's Rally, if there is anything that you might want to see, do, or hear about, be sure to let Coy (Hardrock) know. If there is anyway possible, I'll be there. Bill

  6. Glenn Null from Dexter Axle called me back. He said not to put jack stands under the axles or the springs. He also said it's not necessary to get the tires off the ground. Suggested that old bias-ply tires could develop permanent flat spots, but not modern radial tires. He advised me to get the tires on the ground immediately which I will do as soon as I finish this post. He also said that I may have damaged both axles. He advised me to take them to the frame and axle shop I've dealt with in Iowa City and have them email the serial number of the axles so he can provide them with information on how to check the camber. If they are damaged, I'll experience abnormal wear on the inside of the tires. I plan to have a conversation with Oliver Travel Trailers if my axles are damaged due to the advice Tommy Staggs gave me. So, please don't jack stands anywhere under your Oliver! Leave the tires on the ground during storage.
