  1. Carbon, If you go to my profile, Buzzy, and click on the videos section you will find all the other videos. By the way, I have a Fiamma Privacy Room on order which is due to arrive this month. After I learn how to assemble it, I will create a video for those who might have an interest. Buzzy

  2. End of the Oddesy. I think I have finally named this trailer, almost a year and two epic Oddesy type adventures later. We are currently loosely following the Great River Trail through IL, Ky, and now into eternal northern TN. Only 160 miles to home and the end of this adventure. No pictures the past two day, driving in the rain and not much really to photograph. The Oddesy has performed well, on this cruise, with only minimal issues. We hit a lot of rough roads over the way and two screws backed out of the overhead mirrored doors while neither collapsed completely, thank God, I did have to find a kitchen utensil to sub for a very small screwdriver. I can't think of another thing that went wrong with the Ollie. 6,000 miles of bouncing and it all held together. We plan to arrive home tomorrow afternoon. Lots to do there before our next Oddesy in August. A simple four day trip to explore the total eclipse of the sun. If any of you pass through North MS, please honor is with a visit. Mike and Elizaeth

  3. I'll second the request for some shots of everything packed up so we can see how much storage space it will consume. We've ordered it but like Reed and Karen I really don't know yet where we'll be storing it.

  4. Thanks, Jason just verified that number by email. Mine has no sticker so I can ignore it ;) I think I will be OK with my planned max load. It will be rare, and for short distances. I might keep the gas cans full all the time, but the water cans would only be filled if I expected to be dry camping more than a couple of days. I will keep an eye on the tightness of the mounting hardware, just to be safe. John Davies Spokane WA

  5. We're still interested in the Fiamma Privacy Room but decided to wait a bit and get used to our new Oliver. We've pulled out a bunch of stuff we don't use, every time we come home, and we're still adding and subtracting a little here and there. It will be interesting to see a video on how you set it up for storage while traveling also Buzzy :) I'm hoping that it will fit on top of the car in it's own lockable storage container.

  6. Mike & Carol, love your decor. Buzzy, thanks for the video, but I am having trouble finding your other videos. Is there one particular link to view all your episodes?

  7. John, Remember, there is no glue that works on polyethylene. It's inert and that is why it has to be welded. So with any mechanical connection there must be a gasket, or thread sealer or something. Those deck plates have a small O ring and the tank is flexible. Screws would have to go clear through and be nutted. Not a reliable system for a poly tank. I'm not sure there's room to get it in there either. Maybe. I'll look later with that in mind. I'm not confidant that it would hold the sloshing impact of the tank water. If so, and you could get your hand in there , it would be a way to install a bulkhead fitting for the suction line. I don't think I'd trust it. Another way to gain access later would be to install a 1 1/2" spinweld fitting and then bush it down to 3/4" for the new dip tube. Later, if needed, the bushing could be unscrewed to give a large enough hole to get a vacuum hose in. As far as renting/lending the tools, etc. I'm not doing any commercial stuff till I discuss it with Oliver so as to not conflict with their forum rules. It might be possible to rent the stuff and each person do their own work, but that seems unlikely. It might be possible to do the mod at a rally. Who knows at this point. It is definitely a good fix though. It works and it retrofits fairly easily.

  8. We're always totally alone at night with a nice lake view at boat ramps and we've found some pristine camping spots overlooking a nice lake, not the ramp. It's just something to keep in mind being that it is a legal area to camp when needed :)

  9. I hate truck stops, their diesel pumps are usually nasty and flow way too fast. I think a truck stop would be at the bottom of my list to overnight, but sometimes I guess you can't be choosy. I am always amused to see pictures of Olivers parked between semis. This is one reason (of several) that we came up with the name "Mouse" for ours. John Davies Spokane WA

  10. Mike, looks like you figured out who was behind the curtain! Since Carol and I are both Kansas natives we identify with Dorothy and Toto... Mike
