  1. Thanks fot the update Herschel ! We are looking forward to seeing everyon there.
  2. This is further back in American music history than Rock N' Roll. Further back than Rock A' Billy. It is from the birth place of the blues. Clarksdale Mississippi. Though it is on a corner, and a grand sight to see, there was no girl, my Lord, in a flat bed Ford, a' lookin' back at us. We couldn't stand to miss an opportunity to take the classic touristy photo, but with our Ollie in it instead of us. Where in the world is Ollie now ? Standin' on th' Corner. Travel Bug Ollie on the corner in Clarksdale Miss. Above Ollie is the famous three Guitar Sign post on the Corner.
  3. Twenty four days later, and I checked back. The video will most likely have been viewed seven thousand times by the end of the month ! Amazing, absolutely amazing ! When someone posts a comment about one of the videos that we have posted on youtube, it comes to our mail box. That will direct my attention back to the video for a bit.
  4. Butcherknife & I have been watching the weather for Nevada, but there is nothing quite like an onsite report. How about it Cherie ? Windy ? Dusty ? Estimate of the population of the Nomadic city of Black Rock City ? Black Rock Ranger episodes ? Photo's of this years MAN ?
  5. Jam49, your thread about the table pedestal leg modification is appreciated. Maybe the factory will pick up on that and incorporate it into the 09' Oliver at some point.
  6. Butcherknife and I have really enjoyed your latest trip entrys !
  7. Pete & Oscar ? They are in Florida. Great Trip, great Blog ! They seem to be doing the smart thing about the fickle weather this August, staging from time to time to avoid weather related bad driving conditions. Here is the Blog link: http://www.peteandthewonderegg.blogspot.com/
  8. Geeze Steve, I never knew that. Wonder where the most surviable place for the meds might be in an Oliver ?
  9. Hey, there, DAWGZ ! You guys better come on, that way we can have two pairs to double up on parking spaces with !
  10. So far, I think it will be Chuck N Geri, Steve N Talli and Larry N Betty. Larry and Betty ? Now who in the heck is that ? By the way, thanks for the update on the RVER II !
  11. Many mountain folks will not fillet a Yellow Perch, they like them better cooked with the bones in. We like them better that way too !
  12. Got the refrigerator idea from another forum, and it is beginning to be recomended quite often now. I remember when a friend over on Casita club rolled his TV and Casita in a damaged highway shoulder accident. I thought then while looking at the photos, that the refrigerator was likely the closest thing to a safe, so far as being able to survive a bad accident. We have even considered keeping our medications in the refrigerator, for that reason.
  13. Thanks for the link ! Great story. I usually right click, select save as, then up load the photo to photobucket and post the appropriate link from there that will show the photo in the post I make on the forums.

  15. I know how much these forums mean to you and I also know that they would not be here, if not for your efforts. I know that you have agonized over the decision. But I also know that late hours at the plant trying to catch up on everything must be taking a toll on your quality time on that log cabin porch with Butterknife, looking out over the Buffalo River. Your leadership and foresight have been a blessing. Your hours in the "phonebooth" got us off to a good start. We will do our best to hold to your standards of excellence. Your guiding hand will be sorely missed.
  16. WOoHOoo ! The Unraveling saga of the STRIPPER POLE continues !
  17. Want to learn more about "THE BURNING MAN" ? Here is a link to the web site: http://www.burningman.com/
  18. Mountainborn, I just noticed you deleted your bolded warning to me at the end of your last post not to reopen the thread topic again. Thanks! That was a good move on your part. Please don't make this a personal thing. I deleted that sentence because I thought you were a good guy that had just been caught up in the moment.
  19. Please Doug, you must understand. This is not the official web site. We were lucky to have a factory represenative here from time to time, as their time permitted. We are not the professionals, the factory is. By the way this this thread has been hijacked away from the origonal poster. It is no longer about Table pedestals as was intended.
  20. DougI said: BTW, why was it considered necessary to lock the "Weight" thread? > DougI, maybe you missed it in the topic you mentioned. Three moderators gave their reasons. Here are mine, just incase you missed them: > This topic has wandered off of the origonal subject. It seems to go in continual circles, and is to the point where a member is trying to establish policy for these forums. Speciffics of enginering items should be addressed by the Professionals at the factory. Please direct your questions there. This topic is closed. > As a responsible member of these forums, I am sure that you want correct information from the factory, not misquotes of important data such as had happened in that thread.
  21. Mountainborn, is that "MONEY" I see on them there Domeno's? I tell ya, you can't hide money. Gambling like that and all right there in the open. Son, Son, you are one eagle eyed rascal !
