  1. We had to have the heating coil replaced in our refrig and when we went to pick it up the top was out about an inch. I told them it wasn't right and they wanted to argue with me that it was correct. They finally removed the plastic on the front, pulled it out and then pushed it back in properly and it fit right. The guy had to push pretty hard to get it back in place. Could it be that for some reason your's has simply slipped.....not sure why it would do that though. Hope you find the fix and please let us know what it is. I always worry about what happens when the refrig goes out completely because I'm told the wall of the bathroom has to be removed to take out the refrig to put in a new one. Pam
  2. Just as I was bringing up this Forum, Allen said I bet it's for the water pump. Can't believe we never knew that or even realized we had two switches there. Obviously, we have not been camping enough. We need to fix that problem. Thank you so much for your quick reply. We are taking off tomorrow for a few days and are like a couple of little kids we are so excited! Pam and Allen
  3. Can't believe we have had our Oliver for almost three years now and still find new things that I'm not sure about. In the outside shower compartment is two switches, one turns on the light in the compartment but for the life of me I can't figure out what the other switch is for. We haven't gotten to take the Oliver out in the past year due to ill parents so we are excited to be taking our Oliver for a short camping trip on Monday. It's like learning everything all other again. If anyone could help me with the extra switch mystery, I would appreciate it. Thank you, Pam and Allen
  4. Sorry for your lose, Dillon sounded like an exceptional companion. You were so lucky to have him in your life for so long. Pam and Allen
  5. Thank you for your response. We do have two dump stations within three miles of us which are very convenient. We have had a problem with a small leak every time we empty your tanks. When we start to dump the waste it leaks then stops. We always dump a little of the gray first until the leak stops then do the black. It appears to be right where it comes into the bumper. We've had it looked at and no one can determine the problem. We, of course, tip the trailer back which helps some but it really bothers us, so we thought it would be easier if we could just deal with it at home when we can. My husband is like you, he's concerned about the neatness of the process of using a toilet in the house to empty the tanks. Thank you again for your response. Pam
  6. Thanks for responding. Sounds great to be out traveling for a few months. Hope you had a great time. We have been limited this year due to illness of parents, but hope next year we'll get out more with the Ollie. We have the clean-out hook-up which is wonderful, it does make the job easier. And it's great to hear that you can still stop at Holenwald and have them be so helpful. Have you emptied your trailer's tank's directly into your toilet in your house via the Macerator? Even though the company says you can do that I'm concerned that the pressure would spray everywhere. Thanks for your help. Pam and Allen
  7. Very nice looking and looks easy to maintain. I would think it would be especially nice for winter camping. What I like the Oliver's is that they are so easy to keep clean and new looking. No matter how old or how often they are used they always look like new inside. Pam
  8. Thank you for the information. In the morning I'll check it closer. Pam
  9. A question about the macerator system? Those of you that have it, do you still like it and are you able to empty straight into a home toilet. According the info I have read on it they state you can but that seems iffy to me. Thanks for your help.
  10. Is it noted some where on the trailer what axle you have? Our trailer is hull 34. We haven't noticed any odd wear on our tires but we don't have alot of miles on ours.
  11. That was great. Thanks for posting it. Pam
  12. Yes, there should be two or three Olivers there. We will be at site B44 and Steve and Elizabeth will be at site A53. Look forward to seeing you. Pam and Allen
  13. Thanks for the pictures. Looks like some good size catfish, no wonder you like to go there. Enjoy your new 5th wheel. It will feel like a mansion to you this summer.
  14. Beautiful wildflowers and great looking dog. Thanks for sharing them.
  15. Congrats on your new tow vehicle. With the extra power you will need to remind yourself that Ollie is behind you. Wish we could join everyone at Jugfest, it sounds like fun. I have relatives in Missouri and Arkansas so a trip back that way would be fun with the Oliver. Pam
  16. Glad to hear the Oliver population is growing in CA, although minifan will have to be known as the King of the Olivers. The 22 footer is certainly a rare species. Good buy! Pam
  17. Welcome to the tiny world of Oliver owners! Now California has three Olivers. Allen and I live in Crescent City and Elizabeth and Steve live in Sacramento. It would be great if you could join us at the Fiberglass Rally in Bandon, OR in July. Just returned from a visit with my daughter in Auburn which as you know is down the road from you. Beautiful area! You will love your Oliver! Pam and Allen
  18. You're right we are kinda ophans.... Little Orphan Ollie Ollie Ollie Oxen Free Ollie Hauler's (gang, group, club???)

  20. MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR from California! Pam and Allen
  21. Our Dometic refrigerator stopped working last year when it was on the electric setting but worked on propane so you might want to try it on propane. The electric heat element had gone out on it. An authorized dealer fixed it but they charged extra because they had to pull the refrig out and it took more time. Apparently if the refrig has to be replaced the wall of the bathroom has to be taken out to replace it. Good luck. Pam
  22. Going to stock up on WD40! Your wedding sounds like it would be a blast. Remember those of us out west and post pictures. Pam and Allen
  23. Thanks....WD40 came to mind but it's always good to hear that someone else used it. What would life be like without WD40 and duct tape! Merry Christmas!
  24. I've noticed that the termination valve handles are getting hard to pull out when I empty the tanks. I'm not sure what I can use on them to make them slide easier. Does anyone have any suggestions? Hope everyone is having a great holiday and I especially enjoy reading the recent amazon.com comments! Pam
  25. Robert will be missed by all of us that have Olivers. He was there for us and took care of every little detail. Robert is a gem and we wish him luck. Pam and Allen
