  1. Tom and Karen, where are you with scorched earth??? Paul and Sheri, still in MN? We made it from heavenly (10k+ft) and beautiful Trujillo Meadows down to Taos(way too crowded) to just above I-40 near Alburquque(Cedar Crest). Will visit our local Mothership dealership for minor warranty work and then meet Lane and the Rte 66 EggRoll here and in Tucumcari, NM the on to T or C. Geri's getting me hooked on this small town stuff. Civilization sucks! Except for Sams, Camping World, Bass Pro, Cabelas........
  2. Wide open skies=hellacious wind storms, tornadoes, etc. Kansas is Midwest, RIGHT????? Geri will not miss the Midwest much but the E.R.s' are very nice!!!! Now further west is real nice too. We haven't had a chance to check E.R.s here and hopefully we won't! Spearfish, SD was great. Just not during Sturgis MC Rally.
  3. I think the refills are actually butane. One on each end of a picnic table will protect about 8 folks if they stay close. One inside an Oliver will work great! Alas, 2-3 in the "Mothership"........
  4. Gotta' have one of these...... They are awesome!!!!!!
  5. Not positive, but think this fits over the other backing plate nut to act as a "lock nut". Obviously not successfully A little LocTite goes a long way.. Hope someone else can confirm this for you. Chuck
  6. Oscar, Iffen Pete can't take better care of you, than you can come live with us! Scotty n Doogie Glad all is well and good info from that mechanic. From hauling horse trailers so much, I always had mine manually packed and brakes checked each time. Old fasioned way but..... Chuck n Geri
  7. As Steve mentioned, drill ONE of the broken rivets out (preferably the bottom) and a strong flashlite shined in the hole shud show the plate on the side of the hole. Use a large head Aluminum/Aluminum rivet and you can get diam from a drill bit and get next size smaller if not exact size. With drill bit measure how deep you need to go including the door prop, fiberglas and backing plate and get rivets that fall into that grip range. Currently in Oakley, Kansas heading for Spearfish, SD soon. Regards, Chuck
  8. Our thinking on the Bar Top Epoxy was to be able to put some suction cup hooks/ towel bars without possibly marring the silvering but the window film could do the same thing maybe useing to "coats"??
  9. Haven't got one and it sounds like phishing (not fun like at Lake Greeson, though!) Ya'll missed a great time!
  10. Yes!! Got a 12v blanket and coffee maker. Blanket was great, coffeemaker a bit slow but made good coffee. Easier to make on stove though. Chuck
  11. One GREAT place!!! Our friends, Nancy n Randy had heard of this place but never been....it went to the head of their list! This area has a ton of great eclectic places to eat, hope we can spend a month next winter in the area. Now, this hamburger place, is it close to Ft DeSoto??????
  12. Hi ya'll, I also don't care for the square seating of the dinette and found an upholsterer on the Central Coast of CA who custom made a seat (only 45 degree turnable) easy to get in and out of in an angled heat activated foam that as I remembered slid on a "rail" a few inches side to side. It was a bit $$ at about $400 a pair but was real comfy. I believe his shell was a fiberglass boat seat that he modified. This was a few....years ago and his primary business was hot rod seating and he has retired, but hope this gives you some ideas!!! Hope to see ya'll soon, Chuck n Geri n Scottie n Doogie n MotherShip
  13. Sounds way cool...........add some tye dye n hhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
  14. SNOW!!!!!! Just 'cause it matches yr new truck, doesn't mean ya' gotta post it!!!!! There is a money back gaurantee on NO snow for Jugfest ?????????
  15. We love it but Geri asked the other nite if I thought PhunnyPharm was lonesome.... We had so many good memories and am hoping PP goes to a good home!! The new trailer will probably be "MotherShip". These 5th wheel folks don't name their trailers and some are pretty snooty but we have so many great "egg" friends that we thought it might be appropriate!
  16. FYI, we will have some nice suction cup stuff at JugFest 2010 as our Evergreen has too rough an interior for them to stick to. Chuck
  17. Hoorey!!!!!!!!! Goodygoody!!!!!! Fantastic!!!!!Kirby Landing, here we come!!!!!!!
  18. Ya,ll, We have to vote and probably have to stay at AAAAAAA did anyone see who sent this???????????????...........

  20. Being as we bit the bullet and have a bigger rig(are there any height limits?) we'll bring all the bulky stuff, cups, plates and/or anything else you think of. Looking forward to seeing all from last year and hopefully a lot of new faces. Chuck n Geri n Furkids
  21. The FAMOUS Jugfest I Mean.................
  22. Just remember.... DO NOT CHECK your wheel bearing as I once did....with the palm of your hand....the PACER brand has worn off my hand from the bad bearing we had.... Bugeyedriver has the neatest little heat gun reader..... Larry, ya'll need a seperate post to START the infamous FEST!!! Chuck n Geri n still got our Oliver
  23. GREAT PHOTOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for sharing. Seadawg, the Underwoods are a blast....cool kids, too. And I believe the RV toilet seats are for a form of horseshoes.........
