  4. Another great idea ! Had been thinking of the same problem but considering differant solution...ropelights. Available in 18 foot string. But being electrically challenged , wasn't too sure how to hookup. Hadn't considered the entry panel!!!! Pure genius !! Regards n keep the cool ideas coming!!! Chuck
  5. GREAT IDEA!!!! Oliver, I'm sure, will make note of this !! Chuck
  6. Oh contrare mi amigo. Local channels available only in the zip code that the recvr is programmed for. Want this for local stations. FYI, it is available at Tiger Direct for $17.99 + 7.95 shipping. Gonna get a hookup with A/B switch for Geris' Casita, but think I would need a 3 way switch for the Olivers' antenna, satellite and cable. Being extremely technology handicapped, I could use a little advise. Thanks,Chuck
  7. Congratulations!!! How did ya'll fall into that cool gig??? We're checking back on Roper Lake in Safford, AZ and hoping for our chance at min wage!
  8. Pete, ya'll don't let no grass grow under your feet. Thanks for the info. Do they make an A/B/C switch for us that have satellite???? Assume it would work, right, right??? See ya at Lake Greeson!!!! Chuck
  9. The more the merrier is right!!! Steve n Tali, your April dates work for us as we are also in the same situation as Larry n Betty: reTIRED! Electricity n water would be our preference for all nine days espescially at geezer $$. FYI on Dominoes...Geri is just learning and I haven't played in awhile....I think Larry is setting us up!!!! Keep us posted on dates and what ya'll need us to bring!! Yeahhhhh, Chuck n Geri
  10. Hi Cherie, Ours was installed at factory and is a SignalReach, model sa210. It was installed after Phunny Pharm completed and the antenna is thru the dinette window. Chuck
  11. Ok, sun shining so didn't have to swim to Oliver. The cell amp is Signal Reach, Inc , sa 210 model. The installation diagram shows a connection to the cell(differant by brand of cell phone) but not to a computer. Is there a cordless method? How or can you hook up to a computer? Cherie, I am extremely electrically/electronically/technology challenged but like to use the goodies. Both our Dells have the wifi cards. Any help greatly appreciated! Terms need to be very simplistic, I'm old!!!! Chuck
  12. HOOOOOWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Will be there if Betty promises to make my first ever fried catfish.....may need a little help catchin' n cleanin' too.....Had a BLAST the (way too short) last time I met there with Larry n Betty!!!! 9 (nine) days in heaven!!! how're the skeeters???????? See ya'll there!!!! Chuck n Geri

  14. Hi and thanks for answering! Will swim out to the Phunny Pharm tomorrow. Supposed to stop raining. Will check with Mfg. What I'm trying to accomplish is get stonger signal to my AT&T air card as it is terrible. Earth Dancer uses AllTel and is MUCH better but sometimes she wants to use HER computer and air card and I still got a year on my contract. thanks, Chuck
  15. OK, I give up. Trying to get my outside mounted cell phone amplifier to work with my computer/air card. I know I need a cord to match my cell phone from the heat sink looking part of the amplifier to the cell phone. What I can't find out is what I need to make my Dell computer work (with or without) the air card. Do I need something from the heat sink thingie that has a female plug to the computer Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! Chuck
  16. Congratulations!!!! Oliver will give you a 30 day temp reg. Not knowing which state ya'll are in, I would really STRONGLY rec that you register in your home state ASAP!! My Oliver is reg in Texas and that's where I paid sales tax and registration. As one example showed, late reg can be VERY expensive in TX and CA, my prior home state, is even worse . All the info you need is on the temp lic! Welcome to the forum and again, congratulations!!!! Chuck
  17. Hi Tom n Karen! We'll be close to SeaDawg from Christmas prolly thru latter part of Jan. Let us know your plans and maybe we can make it a 3 Oliver rally! Be advised that the panhandle area of FL can be a mite chilly now thru March! Hope to meet up with ya'll!! Chuck n Geri
  18. Please read the 2nd sentence in your post....... 1. COLD 2. SNOW 3. SLUSH 4. ICE 5. TOO COLD Not all of us are mountain born!!!!
  19. Welcome Wannabe! I've had two Casitas, both a Spirit and a Liberty. Both were great trailers but last year, while in Quartzsite, AZ, there were two Olivers on display. Love at first sight! They had eliminated all my complaints about the Casita: blinds, hokey TV set up, drafts from windows, battery, shower handle, and P trap. The hardest decision was which options to get. Customer service is superb and fellow owners extremely supportative. I think you will enjoy an Oliver because can really appreciate it's fine quality. Any questios, do not hesitate to ask. Regards, Chuck
  20. Hmmmm SpyDawg...what have you uncovered???????? and the plot thickens....
  21. With my total lack of cell/computer communications, we're gonna' have to have a mini rally to train me on how to use all this stuff. Catfishin' n communication training... could it get in better???? Plse keep up your evaluation posting! Chuck
  22. Hi Herm! Congratulations. Hope ya'll love your Oliver as much as we do. Love your floor! Our home base is over on the Florida panhandle and , like Seadawg, ya'll are welcome at anytime you're in our area! Mini rallies are fun!!!!! I was raised in La Crosse, WI thus FL winters! Chuck n Geri n the critters
  23. Hi Cherie! Thanks for the great ideas on organization! Will be using some to gain some room in our overheads. Traveling with 3 dogs n a cat, we can use all the extra space we can get!! Now all we gotta' do is keep the cat outta' the overheads!!! Don't ask..... Thanks, Chuck
  24. Hi DC and thanks for a great and inexpensive idea! It sure is better to replace $3.oo molding than a $???? propane cover! Chuck
