  1. LOL. If it doesn’t, I am in serious trouble 🤣
  2. Fan works. But the lid is manual 😜
  3. My internet searches haven’t given me a lot of confidence ☹️ We are heading to Waterton, Banff and Jasper (weather permitting). Anyone have experience to share???
  4. Last night in East Glacier. We saw 2 other Ollies (including ADKcamper) 4 Casitas, 2 Scamps and 2 Escapes. A veritable fiberglass convention 😃
  5. Much better. TY
  6. LOL I have no idea why those shots are all upside down
  7. Glacier National Park Grinnell Glacier hike with our son who joined us in our LEII for 5 nights! (All that humanity kept setting of the “propane” detector every night 😜)
  8. East Glacier (KOA) lots of smog from forest fires still beautiful whenever it clears a bit
  9. I saw my first spruce grouse ever this week in Two Medicine GNP. I thought it was a ptarmigan but the ranger corrected me. You see ptarmigan don’t visit that area. He added that the NPS had just finished a study on ptarmigan camouflage in the wild. Of all the adaptations in wildlife, silent p is the most rare. 😁
  10. Glacier NP Two Medicine campground
  11. Apparently this type of connector is vulnerable to road vibration??? I had a similar issue with one my jacks (it was a bugger getting my arm in there to reattach it)
  12. Boondocking in Lewiston MT for the night in a Kiwanis Club campground adjacent to a little airport runway. Fun to watch the small planes takeoff and land
  13. If you look VERY closely at the left side of this photo you can see the tongue of our trailer 😂
  14. Maybe a pothole on the highway??? I’m hoping it’s just cosmetic But the chunk out of the wheel worries me
  15. Theodore R NP site 21 in Cottonwood
  16. The tone of these two threads is radically different than most of this board. I'm neither mechanic nor eager DIYer. Just a spectator on most of those kinds of conversations. Which I typically find interesting. Not so much this one. On some chat boards I have participated in there was a way to give plusses and minuses to threads. I don't know if we have that feature here. If we did, I would be publicly advising others to just read something else.
  17. That's a reasonable question, from a scientific perspective, I suppose. But, even if the answer is a hard NO, it's not likely to sway the argument in my household. 🤣 Our concern is more about taste (and maybe a bit of a YUK factor?). I can imagine us using the fresh tank for drinking only if there is some post-tank purification (like a fancy filter or RO or whatever). So far, I haven't come up with a practical way to pull that off.
  18. To my surprise, our answer has become NO. We use it for cooking and washing dishes, but not for filling our water bottles. Water bottles always get filled from one of 2 places: 1) Buy bottled water from the store 2) Some places (like certain visitor centers in national parks) give away GREAT water. In the truck, we have about 20 gallons worth of collapsible water "bags" to take advantage of this when it happens. I would love to stop doing #1. But my adorable wife is very picky about the taste of her drinking water. 😃
  19. Badlands Motel and Campground is basically a reasonably clean parking lot with a convenience store. But you get full hookups 2 min from the entrance to the NP with this view 😀
  20. If I remember correctly from 40 years ago when I read it, the best thing you can do is start a list of names with short notes identifying who they are. 🤣
  21. Today the lid for the ceiling fan stopped working. The manual crank works fine and the fan still OK. Any ideas?
  22. Did you mount the camera on you Ollie? How? Where? 🙂
