That is exactly what I envisioned. I am interested to hear what others say about mating dissimalar metals. There may be a coating that will help.

I always use chocks, but may not be completely off ground with the tires. Movement is more in the front.

There is quite alot of movement when walking around...or even getting out of bed. I use eight inch tall blocks under each jack to reduce the amount of jack deployment. I don't let out too much of the jack because lifting the trailer higher effects our doors...entry and bath. It just feels like there is a lot of torque on the front jack because it is a single point of balance.

Has anyone added jacks to the front in an effort to stop the movement when walking around in the trailer. Talking about the crank down type that can be attached to the frame. I have jack stands which will work but I don't want to crawl around while setting them up.

I carry a 2000 Watt Honda plus 5 gallon gas can in the generator basket. The gas was needed last Summer when we had fog and cloud for a week at Mount Pisgah.

Sherry. we use the microwave a lot so it's a matter of lifestyle. We freeze some casseroles in advance of trips so a convection oven would be a nice feature to finish those. That plus the occasional batch of cookies.

We are thinking of replacing the factory microwave with a convection/microwave combination. Has anyone done this and are there any issues we should know about?

We only have the one awning and do not deploy if raining. Even so there is leakage where the awning case meets the trailer so I would install EZE gotter even with the second awning. I was so careful when installing the gutters and three of them came off. Be sure to clean well.

This is a little late but I want to comment on Steve's extensive tool box and what he said about helping others. While camping with Steve and Tali last October I mentioned that I had bought some extra coat hooks from Oliver but had not installed them because I was uncertain about the thickness of the wall. Next thing I know here comes Steve with drill and tool kits. Ten minutes later my hooks were ready to use and they are quite handy. Friends of mine poke fun because I carry a ready pack full of emergency supplies at all times. Yeah I am a prepper...not doomsday though. While hiking near the Blue Ridge Parkway last August we came across a downed man suffering from a Diabetic episode with no help anywhere. I carry Cliff bars and after a few bites he was good to go...and so grateful. Scouts motto...be prepared. It may be someone else who needs help.

Rolling is a great idea. I used to loose roll my suits in a duffel bag when I travelled for business. In the Army we rolled our socks and underwear for inspections. Always neat and in order. We find that with each trip we take less and less. There may come a time when I miss an item but for now I am usually returning with something Not worn. Over packing is something to be conquered.

So you use the batteries for power? Sounds like a handy fix. What gpm is your pump?

My 2015 Elite II has the water connection inside the bumper too close to the he stinky slinky for my likes. I am going to re locate the connection this year. Has anyone done this who will give advice as to a better location...and how you did it?

We just returned from four nights at Stephen Foster Folk and Cultural Center where we had the first opportunity to use the 12 x 12 Clam room. What a pleasure. Sets up in less than two minutes, great space with the tall vertical walls, and kept all the bugs out. We camped with another family and even with seven at the picnic table it was roomy. Rain threatened one night so we picked it up and set it over one of our tenters for extra protection. This is a great addition to our camping experience.

Congratulations. Your itinerary sounds interesting. While in the Florida Panhandle you might consider the parks along I-10 for Kayaking on the Suwanee river. Stephen Foster Cultural Center has an easy launch as does Suwanee River State park. Blackwater state park is on the Blackwater river and offers interesting Kayaking right from the park. We spent eleven nights at Mount Pisgah campground last Summer. A great campground on the BRP. Not sure when it opens though. Roads can be bad in Winter. How do you manage kayaks AND motorcycles? I have trouble just loading our bikes and lawn chairs. Enjoy your new Oliver. David

Thanks for the info. Wow. I have been asking Robert for a hitch all year and he never let me know one was available. Now let,s et them to offer a fridge upgrade. The 4 CF that is standard gets pretty small after a week. The reason I want a rear hitch is to tote my Yeti on a storage platform...a larger fridge would alleviate the need for that.

Has anyone successfully added a rear hitch to their Ollie. If so please share photos of the installation.
