  1. Something to consider-they were in a blister pack that I bought from OTT in April 2022, thanks
  2. Today I worked on decalcification of Truma Aqua Go water heater-when I went to insert the 6 decalcification tablets in the filter I could only get 5 inside. The first tablet got hung up as if the filter wasn’t wide enough. I tried banging it with a wood handle to seat it further in but it would not budge much. I followed the diagram in the manual. This was my first time attempting decalcification. I called it a draw and proceeded with the process, which completed. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem, if so were you able to solve it?
  3. I put the awning out this morning-no wind at all. After about an hour it retracted , again no wind no breeze. I hit the stop button, it would stop briefly then fully retracted and will not go back out. Changed batteries, checked fuse. Will call customer service Monday as we are still in warranty, but wondered if anyone had any tips or ideas on this. Happy trail to all y’all on the road like us-we are near Nashville at 7 Points CG-most excellent COE park.

  6. Thank you for the info! Our Ollie is a 2022 - wish we had those usb on the nightstand
  7. We have 2 phones, a watch and a set of hearing aids that need charging. I would like to cut down on so many wires hanging, we charge at night usually. I tried a device ordered on Amazon that has 6 charging ports but it was junk. Does anyone have a good solution? Thanks in advance.
  8. We live in Harris County Tx and I estimated the total before I went to register Ollie, so no I was not surprised but not happy about it either. We also purchased a new truck to tow it with so the state got a lot of my money this year!
  9. Grand Tetons NP and Yellowstone (next summer) Banf, any NP, so many places!
  10. The Truma hot water heater will make a humming noise and ECO mode like Frank says will not make noise. I will turn it to regular mode if I want it hot a little quicker
  11. Update: the part was installed today and was the correct part
  12. Our freezer door hinge also broke very recently-a very small plastic part broke off. Ordered a spring holder part from Amazon, it just arrived so it hasn't been installed yet. Probably should have made a ticket as the small part was about $25. Hopefully this is the correct part
  13. Yes that's the one, have both sizes. When I wash dishes outside I set one up by the outside shower-so handy
  14. I love the CGI compact outdoor table-comes in 2 sizes, I have both. These are very light weight, compact aluminum folding tables, very sturdy. Available Amazon. I place one outside the Ollie door and one in the clam. On the table by the door it is so useful for placing objects down either entering or exiting Ollie. Sometimes I'll put my coffee maker on it at night, then I can make coffee without disturbing husband in the morning. The tables fold up very small for transport. Bought about 2 years ago-I think they will last a long time.
  15. This is not campsite cooking but recently we have been camping when it was in the upper 90s and didn't feel like cooking. We have a trip coming up next week so I have been cooking and putting up meals in meal prep containers and freezing them, individual containers. Made meatloaf, pork tenderloin and navy beans so far. I think this will help.
  16. We keep several microfiber cloths, about 12"x12" from Costco in the camper-after using squeegee I use one to finish drying toilet, walls and floor, takes very little time and bath is all clean
  17. We live in Katy Tx-picked up Ollie and got truck in July. I'm finding that most state parks have something available Sun-Thurs. Also Corp of Engineer parks usually have availability. Harvest Hosts are good option. If you have a way to run A/C without electric hookup then some of the state run rest stops off of interstates can be used overnight and many are very nice, water available. (it will probably be hot through Sept) I'm finding camping spots easier to find this year than last year. School is back in session here so that helps. I hope you are not in a hurry to get home-lots of great place to see between Tn and Washington state. Planning is time consuming and a PIA, my soul wants to just wing it and we will do some of that next spring with some stops planned. Good luck and take your time. Once you pick a route I can give some recommendations-Caprock Canyon SP is a top pick in the panhandle.
  18. I think a lot of people don't understand cross-contamination, or germs!
