  1. We have never used the remote. The Oliver is not that big, and it feels like more work to get the remote and point it in the right direction than just stand up, take 1-2 steps, and use the panel.
  2. Nice! If you are an AI fan (trust but verify 🙂 ) you can use AI to search and summarize for you as well.
  3. For those that don’t want or know how to set this up locally You can also do a google search of just the forms natively with google by starting your search with the forum URL like this. “https://olivertraveltrailers.com/forums tire pressure”
  4. We live in North Idaho, where we experience snow and ice. We use a Clamark cover for our Oliver, and it has been excellent. Our Oliver is parked on the side of the house next to the garage and fence, so it doesn't get much direct wind. To protect against any potential damage, we place padding on the sharp corners, such as the bumper and solar panels, ensuring that nothing gets scuffed. I haven't noticed any signs of the fiberglass being scratched since we have a ceramic coating. If it were exposed to more wind, however, that could be a concern. Putting the cover on can be a challenge, but we've developed a great system that makes it relatively easy. When we take the cover off, we roll it up so that it fits in a plastic tote. We roll it in a way that allows us to simply lift it out at the end of the season and place it on top of the Oliver. Then we roll it forward and let it drop off the sides. This method is much easier than the first time we rolled it on on the ground and tried to lift it up and over.
  5. First, I had never heard of snow socks. I did some research that you may find interesting as well. They seems like pretty good options. Compare different types
  6. Thanks for the additional info @Steve and MA
  7. We are not in the market yet, and it would be a drive for sure, but the idea of a "permanent coating" from Master Applied Coatings sure is an interesting story. Spending this money once versus every handful of years would be great.
  8. It appears that you have already asked this question and received some responses.
  9. Rather or not you are plugged in is the primary question. See their manual. https://cdn2.olivertraveltrailers.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/30122505/Lithionics-Batteries-Storage-Procedure.pdf “1. If your battery has the Lithionics Internal Heater, and you are subject to winter conditions, keep the battery ON, solar ON and plugged into shore power. Shut down all appliances, lights, and other DC loads. You may purchase a very small charger from Lithionics Battery (KF Series) and power this from an extension cord if shore power is not available. This will keep the heater running and protect your battery. Doing this will eliminate the procedures below.”
  10. We went with a “cheaper” brand. We have had it a year and so far are very happy with it. I would at least say cheaper is better than nothing at all in the case of a TPMS.
  11. We have gone with Bunny, because she is white and our last name rhymes with Rabbit, you take it from there.
  12. Plus one. Hopefully, we never need them, but referrals are always good to have.
  13. Surprising to hear of 3 of these incidents when they have only made ~1700. Still only a .17% rate but they tow so well. Context on why is helpful, as reaching down for a phone while towing and losing control has very little to do with the trailer.
  14. Nice! Big step forward. We have really liked the Truma Aquago. Customizing before you even use it! It is your first TT so give yourself some grace as you learn how to use it and tow with it. Luckily Olivers tow extremely well.
  15. We have the Calmark as well. It is pricey but works well with great service and fits well. We looked at other generic ones, but just ended up not trusting the fit or the quality enough.
  16. That is pretty much where we ended as well. Too much of a price bump for off-road capabilities we were not going to use.
  17. We don't drink from it at all, but we do cook if the water will boil. We have a 5-gallon water container in the truck bed. The challenge we face is that we prefer cold water. While the refrigerator can hold more food than we anticipated, we don't have an effective solution for keeping cold water on hand. We often forget to fill small plastic bottles and put them in the refrigerator and like our bigger Stanely-style water containers.
  18. In regard to this. Here is what I have done when I need to "clear" a Truma code. I have not had your code but in case it helps. 1) Open the panel to the heater outside. Turn switch to the middle or off position. Wait at least 30 seconds. Then turn it back on by flipping the switch up or down. The other option is reset and there are steps here for that. What is the reset function on the CP plus used for?
  19. max of 3 inches? Ouch, that does not seem like a lot of airflow.
  20. Hmmmm, not loving this as I often have my service paused for months (especially over the winter). I am more on the side of saying this is Starlinks way of getting a bit more money out of everyone. Here is some more info Starlink Replaces Free Pause Mode With $5 Monthly Charge | PCMag It is not optional: "SpaceX is sending emails to customers who have used paused mode, telling them to opt in to standby mode or lose their paused service line." "internet speeds will be capped at 500kbps. " You are not doing much at 500kbps.
  21. The fact that they turn on to their last setting may have sold me. I dislike that the master switch activates the touch lights. However, if they could adjust to a lower setting or turn on blue, that would be nice. I just don't like that when I don't want them on I have to go touch each one.
  22. Welcome to the family. Hopefully, you can get her out soon!
  23. We were in Canada in end of May and start of June and it was great. I have heard a few people stress about this but our experience says that is media scare and not a real thing. We found people to be very nice, engaging and talkative.
  24. I use some white lithium but to each their own. Here is a good video on it and he even calls out how the Anderson hitch is different than others.
  25. Thanks @Patriot. I have limited room on the side to work on maintenance efforts as well. I have been using a little giant to do the work so far. I love that ladder but did not know they had planks. This looks like the solution for me.
