Our 2022 LE2 has a Norcold Absorption fridge. At one point there was a switch from Dometic Absorption to Norcold. We had an issue diagnosed as an AC Element failure. It was covered by Norcold's warranty and replaced at a Norcold approved RV Dealer. We were able to use DC when we were plugged into shore power or LP, so it didn't affect or use of the fridge. This topic will hopefully provide some good suggestions. For now, I will be interested in what others have to say. I would have no idea what to stock up on. Will RV Dealers be able to stock items? Norcold would only ship the AC Element to an approved Norcold Dealer that I selected. They let me know they had the part and scheduled an appointment back in 2023.

I believe the fiberglass is covered for 5 years by Oliver.

Third-Party Maintenance Facilities

Highway Trailer Sales in Salem, OR greased our zerks, and has a very good service department. I would go back in a heartbeat if we were going to be in Oregon again. Not in Western Washington, but considerably closer than Hoenwald, TN. -
Oliver Legacy Elite I wanted: Great Lakes region.

Here is one in Little Rock, AR. Confining yourself to such a small radius around Detroit will limit your ability to find one. -

How to stop AC from clicking (attempting to start?)

That Domestic Thermostat has been a work horse. She has a 2021 LE2. There is a great video by Jason and he show how to reset the thermostat to factory default settings. Replacing the thermostat would be a last resort. I would try the reset before I did anything else. There have been several owners that experienced this very issue and they solved the problem by doing a factory reset. -

Barb, did you try the factory reset that Jason showed on his Thermostat video? I would give that a try before the breaker. The reset is to factory settings. Something might just have gotten out of wack. Worth a try. -
I had a couple great conversations with Lithonics technical. We were instructed to run our batteries down to 48-50% once a year. They said no issues keeping plugged in. We store inside an unheated warehouse with the trailer plugged into shore power, and the battery warming blanket on. In Indiana we get numerous days down near 0° - 20°. We also turn off solar. Storage is one hour away from our home. We visit the trailer once a month to check on everything. We check both the Lithonics and Xantrex Apps when we are there.

Changing tires in the wild - lessons learned
John Dorrer replied to John and Jodi's topic in General Discussion
I was lucky, we had a slow leak so we could fill and get home. We went to a truck tire place and they vacuumed out balance beads and installed metal valve stems. -
I must be doing something wrong. I have tried on my cell phone and on my computer. I save my map. I copy my URL. I go to my signature page. i CLICK ON EDIT. I paste the URL. My new map shows up. I click save. When I go to one of my old posts the original map is still there. I thought all previous posts would reflect the new map. There is something not happening when I go to edit my signature.

Do you drink the water from your fresh tank?
John Dorrer replied to Dennis and Melissa's topic in General Discussion
Yes. Never had an issue. Sanitized several times a season and especially if sitting for over 2 months. I never leave water in the tank. We use the On The Go Water Softener, which helps prevent any calcium build-up. We also use a high quality water filter, as post previously by Steve Morris (not the cheap blue Camping World Special). -

There are flip up windows that open to the horizontal position. 3" will allow little air flow. Bummer. -
Over the past couple of years on Facebook and the Forum there have been posts about the Truma AC going from blowing cool air to warm, humid air. I don't remember if there was an adjustment that solved this issue. An Owner on Facebook set-up camp, turned on the AC, and things started cooling. They left on a hike and upon return the unit was blowing hot air. Upon arrival to the campground the temperature was a sweltering 97°. Looking for suggestions to help this person. I suggested she contact Truma first thing this morning. I did Google this and posted some trouble shooting ideas, and requested additional info and any updates. Unfortunately, she hasn't posted back. Thanks.

The old Pullman Sleeper Cars had nicer looking blinds. They were nice and tight, not like a pillow🙃

It was delivered 2-tone by Oliver. I can't find the original announcements. They were off Oliver website. UPDATE: Hull # 1000 was all white upon delivery

Hull #1000 was built for couple from Tennessee that was 2-tone white/Gray. I heard it was sold. Memory was it was a white top and gray bottom, but I don't remember. It was a 2022. Not sure whether this is #1000 or someone else's. Who knows the story of Hull #1000

Is you outdoor shower knobs closed tight? Open outdoor faucets have caused similar issues. Update: I was replying to the original post and didn't see the complete thread🙃
