ZLarryb Posted April 10 Posted April 10 New electric-only refrigerator, how do you totally power it down? Hull 1467.
Golfnut Posted April 10 Posted April 10 I dont have a two-way fridge.. my previous camper T@B. Had one ..turn the thermostat knob to the lowest..i think its ccw..toward zero. 2022 Elite I # 1179 | 2024 Tundra SR5 4x4 Crewmax. 5.5 ft. Bed. 3.31gears 10 spd.trans
Mike and Jill Posted April 10 Posted April 10 I too, cannot figure that out. Turning it down to lowest setting and it will still run (when I need to defrost it). The only way I know to totally turn it off is to pull the 12v fuse. I been thinking about installing a switch to make it easier. 2 2023 Legacy II hull # 1446 "The Scout" . The light however still comes on when the door is opened, even when the fridge is turned “off”. 1 2023 Elite II, Hull# 1386, Lithium Platinum Package (640AH, 400W Roof Solar, 3000W Xantrex Inverter), added 400W Renogy Solar suitcase with Victron MPPT 100/30 CC, Truma water heater & AC TV: 2024 Silverado 2500HD 6.6L 10-Speed Allison
ZLarryb Posted April 11 Author Posted April 11 So turn it till it clicks and put a piece of tape on the light switch, awkward!
jd1923 Posted April 11 Posted April 11 (edited) I would install a switch at the fuse box. Edited April 11 by jd1923 2 Chris & John in Prescott, AZ | 2016 EII #113 | '01 Ram 2500 Cummins!

If placed correctly, the door stays open but the light switch is depressed, shutting off the light. Or, add a separate switch. 1 2 ----- Steve - Northern Ohio, USA Wandering around on occasion, always lost. 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser - 2023 Oliver Elite II Twin Hull #1360 “Curiosity” Facebook - Instagram Camped in Curiosity = Green —— Visited with Curiosity = Gray
SAR Posted April 24 Posted April 24 I have the new fridge (2-way) and wondered how to turn off. Plus, I always leave frig door open when storing and now I have to deal with the light. Guess I will pull the fuse and breaker. 2024 E2 | Hull # 1527 |Truma | Lithionics (390Ah) |Compost |2024 Tundra| Airstream | Casita | Escape

My light and thermostat seem to be one unit with a wire going into the interior of the fridge. I do not see a way of pulling the plug on the light. Can you illuminate on how you disconnect the light. 1 Jeff & Cindy - NE Arkansas - 2023 Legacy Elite II - Twin Bed - Hull #1423 TV - 2015 Silverado 2500 Duramax 4x4

Certainly. Pull forward on light housing: Ignore bulb and remove electrical connection at back: 1 2 2014 Ram 2500 Cummins Diesel 4X4 Truck 2024 Oliver Legacy Elite II Hull 1460
