Allie Posted Saturday at 04:35 PM Posted Saturday at 04:35 PM Hull number 747 LE2. 2021. Our water hose has disconnected. I can’t seem to get it to connect to the thread to screw back on. Help?! thank you
Allie Posted Saturday at 05:13 PM Author Posted Saturday at 05:13 PM (edited) We fixed it! The pex tube became unlocked and lengthened resulting in the tube getting in the way of the connector screwing back on. Edited Saturday at 05:16 PM by Allie 3
mountainoliver Posted Saturday at 05:20 PM Posted Saturday at 05:20 PM It also looks like the elbow in your picture is loose as well. Just as a suggestion go through every fitting that you can possibly get to and check them for tightness. They are just hand tightened. I go through mine periodically and I always find one or more a little loose. 4 1 2017 Elite II, Hull #208 2019 Chevy HD 2500 Duramax
Patriot Posted Saturday at 07:16 PM Posted Saturday at 07:16 PM It’s always a good idea to ocasdionally check ALL your pex compression fittings for tightness especially during or after a long trip. Just a little hand snug, no need to over tighten or you risk replacing a cracked fitting. 2008RN Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I just got done with a trip 7,000+ miles. Wife is doing a deep cleaning after 48 days of travel. When I went by Hohenwald, and met another Owner and learn about the plastic in the lines, and adding flexible line in-between the PEX and the water heater Tee. So after reading this I decided to check all of the hand tightened fittings. Every one of the white fittings were loose, so they all got tightened. I didn't have any leaks luckily. I will have to put this on the maintenance list also. Early 1999 Ford F250 SD 7.3L Diesel 2020 Elite II Twin - Hull # 648
