Have an Elite1. First issue is does anyone know where the temp sensor is on a Turma heater control.  Once reaching temp the furnace doesn't turn off and keeps hearting the trailer. I can turn it off manually.  Second, my surge protector gave me a E2 code which is a Open Ground fault. Checked the outlet at the house and it's OK, tried two different power cables to the trailer and nothing changed.   I can't seem to find where the ground to the chassie and wondered if anyone could help me in that area.  Can't get any schematics from Oliver or help so I'm on my own.

More than a few people have had issues with the ground and neutral connections inside the EMS itself. That's the first place I'd check.

Agreed, E2 means no ground connection. Given you are certain shore power has proper ground (be sure) then it would be within the PI EMS. Make sure ALL 6 connections (3 in, 3 out) are clean and tight. The 4 you see quickly in the picture are the hot and neutral connections. Then look closely at the green wires which are bolted to the case of the EMS (inside top of the case in picture). I can see that one of these could get loose easily.

The main grounding buss is under the aft dinette seat. It is attached to the frame. Oliver does not supply wiring diagrams to owners. You do know that RV wiring is not like that in your home? The neutral and ground wires in an RV are isolated from each other.

A big thanks guys. You save me from having to hire a electrican to trouble shoot my issues and repair it.  Seems like something that Oliver personal didn't do correctly.

But..,

We would like you to take care of your laundry before I/we help again.

@ScubaRx, Oliver Elder and Senior Forum Mod asked you to update your profile. That done and add a proper signature with hull #, etc. and then “Welcome to the community.”

You have a couple threads started and we do help known Forum Members.

What were your issues, and how did you resolve them?
