Lori L Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago The lever on my kitchen faucet will move from side to side, but I cannot pull the lever towards the sink to allow water flow. I don’t want to force it. It worked when I winterized IMG_2389.mov the camper two months ago and I just had the camper serviced. But the kitchen faucet lever seems to be locked and will not come forward.
Moderators topgun2 Posted 10 hours ago Moderators Posted 10 hours ago I do not have your type of faucet in my trailer or home. However, these faucets virtually all have a cartridge inside and it appears to me that there is something stuck inside that. I'd look at your manuals to see what cartridge it uses and how to disassemble the top of the faucet in order to get to it. Good luck! I did take the allen screw out and removed the lever to see if calcification had occurred or if something else was blocking the lever from being pulled forward. Couldn’t really find anything. Just have to do without the kitchen sink this trip. I also did submit a service ticket. Thank you for your reply!
SNY SD UP Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) I would definitely contact OTT Service. if you just had the “Full Monty” service then they should have noticed this. Just looked at our faucet which overall looks similar except we do not have an Allen screw on top. I would remove the handle again to see if with some kind of tool it can be moved. You can’t make it worse! It’s likely not serviceable, so if it remains to be stuck it will have to be replaced. I was back there a couple years ago because the water lines on our faucet were loose and leaking. It will not be a fun job to R&R since there is so little room and you’ll need a mirror to see behind the sink. Hope you can get it to work somehow.
