Steph and Dud B Posted November 6, 2021 Posted November 6, 2021 He says in the video, "Don't do it with something that's obviously an RV." Don't think the EV owners and charging station owner would take kindly to a truck and trailer backed up to their charging station. 1 Stephanie and Dudley from CT. 2022 LE2, Hull #1150: Eggcelsior. At this time, you won't find many charging stations that will accommodate a truck and trailer. Tesla has a few, but you wouldn't be able to use them, anyway. 2008 Ram 1500 4 × 4 2008 Oliver Elite, Hull #12 Florida and Western North Carolina, or wherever the truck goes.... 400 watts solar. John E Davies Posted November 6, 2021 Posted November 6, 2021 I did not watch much of that video, enough to know I would not use him as an example of safe engineering. He actually drives around with all this stuff just flopping around? Darwin Award nominee. Moderators SeaDawg Posted November 6, 2021 Moderators Posted November 6, 2021 The guy in the video is, indeed, an outlier. But, he's trying. There are many folks out there with used tesla, Nissan, etc takeout batteries. Much safer with batteries designed for our uses, imo. Don't get too caught up in outlier youtubes.
