Galway Girl Posted February 4, 2022 Posted February 4, 2022 We’ve been experiencing a very high pitched squeal above 10 Khz and can’t isolate the source. location: the sound seems to comes from the ceiling area around the maxxair fan We have turned off all items including the tv, radio, fans, water heater, furnaces etc. to isolate the source. at random times the squeal comes back. Anyone else had this issue? 2019 Elite II (Hull 505 - Galway Girl - August 7, 2019 Delivery) Tow Vehicle: 2021 F350 King Ranch, FX4, MaxTow Package, 10 Speed, 3.55 Rear Axle Batteries Upgrade: Dual 315GTX Lithionics Lithiums - 630AH Total Inverter/Charger: Xantrex 2000Pro Travel BLOG: https://4-ever-hitched.com
Geronimo John Posted February 4, 2022 Posted February 4, 2022 Any possibility it could be from the A/C unit? Other than that, there is not much up there in the ceiling. Frank C Posted February 4, 2022 Posted February 4, 2022 Have you disconnected from shore power to see if the noise goes away then?
Moderators Mike and Carol Posted February 4, 2022 Moderators Posted February 4, 2022 Does the sound change if you turn the overhead lights on/off? Texas Hill Country | 2016 Elite II #135 | 2020 Ram 2500 6.7L
Galway Girl Posted February 5, 2022 Author Posted February 5, 2022 Will try disconnecting from shore power to see …the sound is intermittent, and only is on for a few seconds. I’m suspecting oscillation on a circuit board the goes away when energy drops. Sound is loudest up by the Maxxair Fan above stove. 2019 Elite II (Hull 505 - Galway Girl - August 7, 2019 Delivery) Tow Vehicle: 2021 F350 King Ranch, FX4, MaxTow Package, 10 Speed, 3.55 Rear Axle Batteries Upgrade: Dual 315GTX Lithionics Lithiums - 630AH Total Inverter/Charger: Xantrex 2000Pro Travel BLOG: https://4-ever-hitched.com
Geronimo John Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 Is your Maxx Air fan partially open? They are "Stiff/Tight" only when open or fully closed. GJ PS: Fried another brain cell. How about the bathroom exhaust fan. Maybe a bearing squeak. 1 TV: 2019 F-150 SuperCrew Lariat, 3.5L EcoBoost, 10 Speed Trans, Max Tow, FX-4, Rear Locker OLLIE: 2018 OE2 Hull 342, Twin Bed.
