Got the tool shelf too and 14” outriggers for greater stability.

You’re gonna be very pleased with the shelf, won’t have to bend over as far to reach supplies and worry about kicking things off the deck. I considered the outriggers, but working on my paver driveway has proved very stable thus far without them. However, in your situation where the scaffolds may be stacked for home maintenance, indeed a necessity. Regarding washing, I use a foam cannon in tandem with an electric water pressure sprayer and extendible brush. The pump motor only runs when actually spraying and I bought a FOB device to operate the pump from atop the scaffold. Good luck with the new equipment and be careful up there! At minimum, consider a rope or chain at top of scaffold, Chris may yell ‘dinner’s ready’ and you forget where you’re at!

I'm thinking of stacking them even for Oliver rooftop work. Having the extra cross members, I can put one beam low for stability and a second up high at say 10' for a rear safety railing. I can mount the platform about 6 or 7' and store the second platform for later use. Having the double height frame the tool shelf can be mounted up high at waist height. Outriggers not only necessary when stacking these but we have very little level land here. Our driveway is as level as it gets here and from the picture you can see what I mean.

I love that every item can be mounted up or down every couple of inches. I will post a picture next week after I get it setup.

I also have a trades professional Hyde safety belt set with safety hook leads I purchased back in 1990 when I was restoring attic dormers on the first home we bought. It's been hanging from the rafters of my garage for decades with some occasional use since.

She will look a lot better without the tall Winegard Dish!

I just ordered the same set of items as you. Ditto here with un-level ground, so needed the outriggers. Looking forward to using the scaffold instead of ladder for reaching towards middle of top of trailer with buffer. Will also double stack as per your mention for use as outside safety rail. Once done with trailer spa treatment, the scaffolds will see double duty on home improvement projects, so win-win.

Thanks for alerting us to the screaming deal on these!

I now understand your approach, you can definitely dial in a suitable working height with incremental  adjustments. My platform is 58” and the back guardrail is 92” measured from the ground up. I’m 5’10” and can easily reach the entire ‘high rise’ section on the roof with buffer in hand, but cloth wipe-down is a bit of a stretch. Agree, down with the Dish!

Working on a scaffold platform will be much safer than on a ladder, reaching from atop a ladder is an accident waiting to happen. You have made a wise decision!

Hard to believe submitting a web order with Home Depot on a Sunday morning and receiving the scaffolding Monday by 1PM! Wow, the accessories should be here by Thanksgiving.

Just need one level working on the front where the driveway is a foot or more higher, hitch tongue near the ground, so as you can see I added two additional for support. Notice the side view, adding a 1” block to level and a large pool noodle to steady the platform and protect the Oliver.

Was worried about the wheels rolling but they lock nicely. I have some adjustable scaffold levelers and might get these. If you do you want the 1 3/8” inserts for this model: https://a.co/d/00HCoxT

That is an excellent savings, thanks for bringing this to everyone’s attention! Mine is the 1,100 lb. load capacity model with a solid deck, typically less expensive, but the ‘Special Buy’ on this 1250 lb. model is a real deal!  The MetalTech guardrail system for fall safety is pricey, so I fabricated one using fence railing and gate components. I found this accessory very useful, as well!

Ordering the MetalTech Scaffold system today while still on sale! Thanks for the scaffold information posted! Needed a safer way to wax and work on Ollie's roof instead of hanging off of a ladder.
