The 2027 Lineup

Compare the three Olivers Apex X23, Legacy Elite II and Legacy Elite, side by side

Same shell construction in all three. What changes is the length, the power system and how far off the pavement the trailer is meant to go. Every figure below is Oliver's own published number.

Three Models

Which one you are choosing between

All three are built from four molded fiberglass shells on an aircraft-grade aluminum frame. The differences are length, power and how far from a hookup you intend to get.

Narrowing It Down

Four questions that decide it

The shell is the same in all three, so the choice comes down to what you tow with, where you park, and how long you stay off a hookup.

What are you towing with?

The Legacy Elite is 3,700 pounds dry with a 370 pound tongue, which is the lightest of the three by some way. The Elite II and the Apex run 4,900 and 5,300 pounds against a 7,000 pound rating.

Check your vehicle's payload as well as its tow rating. Payload is the number that usually decides this, and it is on the sticker in the driver's door jamb.

Where do you expect to park it?

Five and a half feet of length and six inches of width separate the Legacy Elite from the other two. That matters on national park loops with a length limit, on switchbacks, and in a home garage.

Measure the space you will store it in before you decide. 9 feet 2 inches to the top of the air conditioner on the Legacy Elite, 9 feet 8 inches on the other two.

How long do you sit without a hookup?

This is the Apex question. It carries a 48V system with 400Ah equivalent and a 3,600W inverter as standard, where the Elite II starts with a 100Ah lithium battery and adds an inverter from the Premium build up.

A weekend on shore power does not need the Apex. A week on a forest service road is what it was built for.

How soon do you want it?

Every 2026 Legacy Elite production slot has been reserved. If the timing matters more than the length, the Elite II and the Apex are the two you can still get into.

All three are built to order one at a time, so ask about the queue early rather than late.

Still deciding between two of them? Come and stand in both on the same afternoon. That settles it faster than any table.
