  1. Interesting - was it supply chain issues or engineering design considerations? In any case - I have decided I'm going - Li -- just as soon as I can get 600 amp hours in a 12 cubic inch box, at a cost below $500. I figure that will happen - oh - say 2025 or so. Moore's law in battery storage - one can hope. RB
  2. Many years ago, when the plastic and rotomolding process was newer - I had a WW kayak that cracked at a young age. The warranty process - cut one end off - and they would send you a new boat at reduced cost. This was pre WWW - I can't remember if I sent it back or not? RB
  3. Yep. Alaska is just a tiny little hamlet. That is why the wildlife look so big in comparison. 😜
  4. Hey Swamp, welcome to the team. Look forward to meeting you. RB
  5. Ours is #359 - June 2018. AGM's appear to be doing very well. I expect to get several more years out of them. They have seen good repeated discharge and recharge cycles - and stay fully charged when in idle. Perhaps I am being too optimistic. But, I have gotten 7- 8 years on my other batteries - well don't count the tractor and the mower - they aren't big enough to do much - questionable manufacturers. At this point - if they meet expectations - AGM's go back in... RB
  6. Interesting - I will have to keep him in mind.
  7. Meaning, I first heard the music as a younger feller. Now that I am slightly past the middle part of the actuarial tables - The songs too often bring back memories - many that seem just like yesterday. Seems my mind continues to write checks, that the body struggles to cash..... Allison and Robert Plant have some compilations - that are really good - Ms. Krouse had to carry him a little...... However - I must say I saw Mr. Plant at Bonnaroo a few years back and he was darn good. I admit - I have no Carol King in my playlist - probably should. RB
  8. leaving natures blend
  9. Yep - My AGM's are good for a while. I am pretty sure if buying new - I would still do same. RB
  10. I don't believe it would all that difficult. Build a subframe to fit directly under the current Ollie frame - add whatever you desire in inches to gain some ground clearance. Fab up the Timbren stuff as needed, Jack up Ollie, remove the running gear, slide the new under, bolt it up, and verify all the measurements and square. Change out the hitch to Lock n roll. Put your super cool new wheels and tires on - go try it out - Simple right?? Ha - just do it. But not me, RB Ps, If I could afford this - I would self insure..... just sayin..

  13. Welcome. Looking forward to recaps on the adjustments to the Smaller Oliver. The smaller paces hold much to experience. Happy Trails RB
  14. ---- And our wife/SO in the shotgun seat - helping...... Still the new tech features are interesting - I still use mirrors - I forget the rear view camera is there - and then I say - Oh Yeah - comes in handy. RB

  17. Jazz - really nice here - making something out of nothing. Good integration of differing concepts. One pure spontaneous, the other very systematic. Cool . RB According to sources - a take off of: or perhaps its on the album - a guess.

  20. Oklahoma - yes can be - mmm lonely - Must be why the Feds banished my grandmother there back in 1890's - after a long walk north - - she escaped- Ha. Eastern OK is actually decent - perhaps because it is actually ARK. Kansas - well I am sure it has its redeeming features. I have great repour with its inhabitants - but I admit - all have been brief travel stop/go employees. The roads are really good - see - positive comments. music - yes
  21. and still stink
  22. Hot Cat feet,
  23. Interesting stuff Mr. Snowball. I'm not sure when/where I would listen to some of it - perhaps on a long drive - I could see that working out - yeah - about half way across Kansas - heading west-. It would be perfect. RB
  24. Hmm, it does take some effort to get through a few - But then - I am just a one person - almost fit, but not a Tik-Tok sample, ,.
