Be sure to check road conditions -- Route 50 closed in sections (bridge work) and also some local flooding last week. I will keep my eyes peeled for Olivers on the road!
If you have not visited it already, tour Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP. Breath taking!

Congratulations! Wishing you all the best in your travels!

Nice mod for sure! I would keep the rubber cover/caps for sure, as the Oliver has plenty of night lights already 😄.
Just me. 😎

Back in 2018, Anita had called me and wanted to know if I'd show our trailer to a couple from Tupelo. Johnny, his wife Juanita and their daughter came to visit us the next day. After talking with them for a couple of hours, Johnny stated that when he retires he's going to buy an Oliver.
Today, six years later ... Tali called me and exclaimed that "...there's a brand new Oliver parked at a house right around the corner from us..." So naturally, I went to investigate.
Today was his last day of work. A few days ago while visiting with his daughter (who is now a Nurse Practitioner that lives and works near Atlanta), he realized that about 2 miles from her house was Southland RV in Norcross, GA, one of the new Oliver dealers. They apparently took a ride, went in, fulfilled their six year old dream and are now the proud owners of Hull # 1525. I could not be happier for them.
Welcome to the club @josmith68, Johnny and Juanita Smith.
Steve,
A great story! And yes!! Welcome to the club Johnny & Juanita. 👍🏻👍🏻

A big shout out and huge thank you to the Sea Biscuit Team, and to owners Kristine Hess & David Hess for our hand crafted “ OLLIE HANGAR” custom S/S sign that we won at this years rally. We also have the Sea Biscuit front cargo box which completes our Oliver storage and we love it! Awesome metal craftsmanship made right here in the USA.

Welcome to the forum! My wife and I also ride rail trails and both really enjoy cycling whenever we can.
We look forward to hearing about your cycling and camping adventures.
Your signature line looks great!

Something to consider is a XXL Yard Stash cover. It really helps keep our bikes clean and dry. No issues with rear light visibility. 👍🏻
We recently added these Aventon class 3 Pace 500.3’s STs in “Basalt” color or putty gray to our stable with the current free extra battery promo going on. If you test ride one, you may will quickly come down with a permanent big smile and severe case of the “wanties”. Aventon nailed it on the torque sensor. They reeeally are a blast to ride!
We ordered our bikes from our LBS before the recent $200 tariff price increase. I highly reccomend purchasing through a local bike shop and NOT online for many reasons, most importantly if you need any warranty work. We have an excellent relationship with the owners of our local shop which is a huge plus.
These bikes come with a solid 2 year warranty and very positive reviews on YouTube and individual owner reviews. Pedal On!! https://www.aventon.com/products/pace500-3-step-through-ebike?variant=43302187827395
Had the shop install these prior to pick up - https://tannusamerica.com/?tw_source=google&tw_adid=696203111208&tw_campaign=21175368863&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwm_SzBhAsEiwAXE2CvylXQsoLuEG60SH7YcvO73R0ySnlJ67FAjHIGwI4OVw3xpDThyf2NBoCjnsQAvD_BwE-

We have purchased from this company in South Carolina. They make form fitted sheets and mattress covers for Olivers. Excellent products and customer service in our experience. We prefer memory foam mattresses vs coil spring. We originally had Southern mattresses and were not happy with the coil spring style mattresses. Everyone’s comfort level is different. Great deep Zzzzzz’s with our Casper cooling 11” memory foam mattresses.

We built a "Lagun Table" with grooved edges underneath so as to place between the twin rails. When in place, the tabletop now supports the added cushion between the twins turning the sleeping area into a single/larger area that's more than enough for my 6' frame and D's 5'7" physique. This way, we keep the nightstand and sleep port/stbd instead of fore/aft.
As far as @topgun2's shower comment - 100% concur. If I was 6'4", I'd likely sit on the toilet to wash rather than stoop. How do you handle "rain locker" operations, @Patriot?
Pre delivery, we had Oliver custom cut a hole in the shower ceiling directly above my head and then add a water tight automatic rain locker “moon roof” for that little extra 1” of clearance. This is a one off mod and Oliver wanted me to keep it low key. 🤣🤣
In all seriousness, it has not been an issue for me at all at 6’3. I can’t stand completely straight up, but it all works out, a total non shower 🚿 issue here. 😊
Onward!

We are Olly wannabes but have yet to see one in person. My big question is: at 6’4 am I gonna have sleeping room in a twin set up Legacy II? This would be a real deal breaker if not and maybe listening to some of your experience would help. Thanks in advance. 😃
I am 6’3 and a 99.9% a side sleeper and actually sleep really well in the twin. We crafted 10” thick memory foam mattresses with a cooling gel in them. Essentially I took a Casper Queen mattress we purchased at Target and sliced it in half and cut the radius with an electric turkey carving knife. Long story short, it all came together and no trouble with getting a great night of deep Zzzzzzzzzs! 😴😄.
Like @topgun2 suggested go see an Oliver especially since it appears you live in Tenn. Maybe take a day trip and do the factory tour. The factory tour convinced us that we were on point when we were thinking about purchasing an Oliver. Looking back, so glad we did.

You bet GJ - seriously MIT type multi discipline scholars making it happen. All the science, tech, engineering and math is blazing a lightening path forward. It’s hard to get one’s mind wrapped around just the problem solving that had to be completed along the way.

To your point @Half Fast HugoHere is another vid on pretty much everything you mentioned. This tuber seems to be on point with the mini. At this point I am in a holding pattern on pulling the trigger waiting for the newness dust to settle and user reviews are available. It appears there is no pause in service when not in use and a cap at 50GB per month with additional GB available naturally at an added cost.
I don’t have an invitation/email to the dance, so I shall wait and see. 🙃

Thanks Hugo for the fine-print details, any future info anyone gleans would also be appreciated. I agree with @Geronimo John it maybe awhile before this mini becomes available in an RV/camping/travel package. I will be really interested if and when it does. I do like what the future mounting possibilities could be with this mini dish.

We have been considering Starlink for our Oliver. I think this latest version of the new Starlink mini dish might really be worth a look and waiting for. With a much more compact/portable size and initial lower cost might be a viable option for our needs. It will be interesting to see how this new mini dish performs.

On the level Mod!!
My good friend @JBurton suggested this leveling assist mod and we both placed an order today. The company is based right here in North Carolina 🇺🇸 and they also provide product support. It’s a fairly basic install of a 3-axis digital accelerometer. Based on the strong reviews it appears to be a worthwhile product that will hopefully serve us well. We really like supporting USA small businesses when we can.🇺🇸
