Hello, I have searched the forum, but not ben able to find a link to purchase a new water pump filter. I have a 2021 Elite1 and my filter housing has cracked. Where can I purchase a new one? Thank you in advance. Bill

Update - issue resolved. I changed the temperature differential on the thermostat from "d1" to "d2". As described in the owners manual, when the system is off, push the down arrow and power buttons at the same time and adjust from d1 to d2 setting. I have no idea why the system would try to cycle the AC while in furnace mode, but this resolved my issue. Thanks to Mike Wyant on the FB group for the solution.

I have a 2021 Elite 1 and have slept several nights in the 30s (never much below 30). I usually heat the trailer to about 60-65 when go to bed. I turn the furnace off or very low (50) and go to sleep. By the morning, the trailer is High 40s - low 50s. It consumes only about .2 to .4 volts of my battery (run the fridge on propane, not DC). Boondocking with no hookups in Elite 1. Running the furnace. Thermostat fan speed set to Auto. The AC fan is not running, but I am hearing a strange "clicking" sound coming from AC. It sounds as if something is trying to cycle on/off... Any ideas?

@ScubaRx Did you reuse the hardware to rehang the rod? I am having difficulty removing the piece of hardware that is screwed directly into the shelf . See attached pics. Any suggestions for removing the screws that hold this piece of hardware?

Has anybody repositioned the hanging rod in the closet? I have an Elite 1 (2021 model). The hanging rod is too close to the door to be very useful for hanging clothes. I have searched the forum for various topics, but haven't found any threads on this topic. I wonder if anybody has done this mod? TIA - Bill

I use the common Camco blue water filters to fill the fresh tank and when we are connected to city water. We don't drink from the trailer but take our drinking water separately. We use water from the tank and city connection for dishes and showering only. QUESTION: How often do you replace the cheap Camco water filters? Thanks in advance for your input.

Thank you so much. I have been thinking about this since I got my Ollie 1 year ago. This solves a real hassle for me. My trailer is a 2021 Elite 1. Every time I travel I have to plug in the fridge cord to the outlet (if I want ot run the fridge off AC). Obviously, this requres me to remove a drawer and and stretch my arm back there, feel around and plug it back in. For some reason, the plug always dislodges during travel. I have tried to secure it with zip tie and duck tape.....to no avail. Thanks for the detailed instructions. Bill

On my rig (picked up in February) the QCs worked on the front and back connection. But levers don't "snap forward". I have to manually slide them forward after inserting the male and having the female coupler properly connected . It works the same on the front disconnect and the back disconnect. If you have figured it out on the front, you should be abe to connect the rear. Also - you do have propane in the tank and the valve opened at the bottle? If so, I think a call to Oliver Service is the next step. Bill

You have found the small lever that slides back and forward to open and close the quick connect valve? If I remember correctly, you push the lever back to attach the quick connect and pull it forward to open the valve after the fitting is attached. It is generally described at about the 4 minute mark of this video:

You crack me up. I had a similar reaction reading this thread. I thought I was the only one who has spent too much time and money thinking about something as simple ascamp chairs. For the record, we use these https://bit.ly/2P3Wybh and usually carry 4. Reatively inexpensive ($50 at REI) and pretty durable.

I am embarrassed that this simple fix took me as long as it did; but I spent a good hour on it....Almost all of the time was spent feeling my way behind the galley, and trying to get my light and a small mirror to see back there. I never could get a decent look at the plug. Honestly, I was doing other stuff while I was fixing this too. I was sanitizing the water lines and fresh tank, and installing some permanent plumbing connections in place. I also spent some time figuring out exactly how the drawer slides work. I am easily distracted.....This little trailer has become my new toy....

Just to add to this thread... On my 2021 Elite 1, I also had the Norcold Code 10 issue, exactly as decribed above. My cord had become completely unplugged (not merely loose). I had a heckuva time locating the outlet box and getting the plug inserted into the holes. On my rig, the plug goes in facing aft (towards the rear of the trailer). I highly recommed a small mirror and light and some patience. Also - please disconnect shore power when you are blindly feeling around the outlet box to find the holes. After re-inserting the cord into the outlet, I secured plug with some duct tape. I tried the best I could to get a decent picture to share with this forum, but I was unable to get anything that looked decent. I reported the issue to Mike at the Oliver Service Desk who helped me along the way. He seemed familiar with this common issue and was ready with the trouble shooting steps. He also indicated there were screws that could be removed to gain access to this area behind the galley, but I was never able to locate the screws and so I was forced to reach back there and feel my way through it. This issue is very simple to resolve, but it is a booger to get the fridge plugged back in.

UPDATE - Returned home after first trip with wife and teenage daughter. It was intentionally an easy trip. Drive about 200 miles total over 3 days. I highly recommend an easy first trip for rookie RVers (like us). This was a great way to get my (semi-reluctant spouse) to enjoy a weekend in the Ollie. The first night we visited our family at their ranch near Llano, TX. The second night we stayed at a Harvest Host in the middle of Johnson City, TX and we met up with old friends. Great food and conversation all weekend. Overall, the trailer is great. Today, I will work to repair 3 minor "issues" with the trailer, but I will search the forums and start new threads if I have questions: (1) need to check the electric AC connection on my Norcold fridge (won't work on AC power when plugged in; does fine on propane); (2)aAutomatic gate closed on the trailer scratching the fiberglass (need to try to buff it out; and (3) mirrored bathroom door has a crack. I don't think any of these are major repairs, but if I have questions, I'll post on the forum. @John E Davies & @topgun2 - thanks for the advice about sterilizing the fresh tank. I will do that today. We don't use the fresh tank for drinking water, but, obviously, want the fresh tank to remain "fresh". @Mike and Carol - I will defintely disconnect my batteries before storage. Thank you. @Time2Go! - Our HH was the 290 Vinery in Johnson City, TX. This is a historic hill country town on HW 290 (the TX wine country trail). Overall, our stay was great. The owners and their adult kids were very casual and relaxed. They have a large variety of wines, including many from outside the region. There are no hookups. It was a busy winery on Saturday afternoon, but after it closed (around 6 pm), we were there alone. The best part about this HH is the location. You are a short 3 blocks from the town square. This would be a great stop during the holidays with the courthouse and surrounding grounds lit and decorated. We would stay there again. I don't have any great pics of a beautiful hill country sunset or perfectly ripe grapes, but, because you asked, here is the rig at the 290 Vinery.

I picked up my trailer from storage today and followed the de-winterization process, described in the recent post from the service dept. Trailer is brand new 2021 Elite 1. This is our first RV of any kind (we are RV rookies). I took delivery the first week of February and spent 3 nights on my way back home to central TX and a couple of more days parked in front of my house trying to learn the systems. In preparation for the winter storm, I winterized the trailer. I drained all of my lines and tanks the best I could. I added the pink RV antifreeze, turned off all components drawing a current, and - certain that I had forgotten something - prayed for the best. The trailer is stored in a Boat & RV storage facility, covered, but open air. No hookups. After 3 full weeks in storage (including a full week of below freezing temps), I picked up the trailer this morning. My batteries were at 12.4V (is this about a 50% charge on my 2 AGMs?) . After a day in the direct sun, the solar had charged the batteries to 13.8V. I plugged in at my house (20A service) for tonight. I assume the batteries are still healthy? I flushed the fresh tank, and ran enough water through to the plumbing to fill a and drain a couple of gray tanks, and I reconnected and tested my water heater. No visible signs of leaks. No water leaking through the metal drain holes. While running the water, I took a flashlight and looked for any signs of water or leaks under the rear seats. (Finger crossed) I think my little Ollie survived! I am taking my wife on our maiden voyage this weekend. We are staying very close to home - on a nearby ranch the first night and at a Harvest Host the second night. We are visiting family and friends each night and will never be more than 1 hour from our house or more than 5 minutes from a town. The weather is forecast to be beautiful. I am trying to do the easiset trip possible to ease into this RV camping. Wish us luck! Again, thanks so much for all of your advice and patience with the first-timers. Bill

I just measured my 2021 Elite 1 battery tray. It is approximately 14" wide x 14" deep, with a 9" tall opening (to enable pulling out the battery tray). Thus, I think two Lithionics or two Battleborn batteries would fit according to the dimensions shared by @Starshine above. I have the AGM batteries in my new trailer and will keep them until they are no longer sufficient or wear out. Thanks for all of the valuable info.

Full Disclosure - I am a NEWBIE RV owner. I have owned our Ollie (Elite 1) for less than a month. With that said, I just recently had all of the questions you listed above and here are my thoughts. I hope this helps, but there are experienced contributors to this forum who generously share their knowledge. I am planning on getting the Andersen ultimate trailer gear package for leveling, chocking and pads for stabilizer jacks. Would I need anything else? The Andersen's are easy to use. I also got these stabilizer blocks and these chocks. I have read that a water filter is a good idea? Do you have suggestions for a water filter. I got this filter and I also got this water pressure regulator I have also read that you should use a polarity and voltage tester to make sure you have safe power at campgrounds? Suggestions for one of those. I do not yet have one of these, but I am considering it. I understand you get a 30 to 15 amp converter plug with the trailer. Would you ever need a 50 to 30 amp converter plug? In looking at some campgrounds it looks like if they have 50 amp service they also have 30 amp service. I got this 30A female to 15A male adapter and a 12 gauge extension cord. I do not yet have a 50A to 30A adapter. We are getting a rear hitch on the back of the trailer for a bike rack. I have been looking at various models of that but many of them specifically say not for use on back of an RV or trailer. Does someone have suggestions of a bike rack for 2 bikes? I also got the rear hitch, but haven't put a bike rack on it yet. I have read that some campgrounds require a sewer hose support. Suggestions for one of those. I did the compost option. I drain gray waste through a garden hose with one of these with no hose support I did print off a list of tools, fuses and other things you should have. Is there any other things we should be thinking about getting? The water hose supplied by Oliver is very stiff and hard to use. I replaced with a Zero G hose

@Carl Hansen I also have an Elite 1. I just picked it up last week in Hohenwald and spent 3 nights on my way home to central TX. The nighttime lows reached the mid 20s to mid 30s each night. I had full hookups each night and used a small (750W) space heater for two nights. Each of those nights I set the thermostat between 60 and 65 degrees. UPDATE on the Tundra (4WD, SR5, with 5.7L V8) The Tundra pulls the smaller Elite 1 great. The larger gas tank, the bigger engine, make the tow actually pretty pleasant. I am really happy I upgraded the tow vehicle.

Made it back home yesterday in time for the game. Still learning how to tow it, but getting better. Really enjoying this little trailer. Only 2 "issues" with the Ollie so far: (1) rear back-up camera became loose during a storm. (2) center cap from one of my wheels cracked. Both are/were easy and cheap fixes. ANOTHER QUESTION: How do you know when your fresh and gray tanks are completely empty? I though I had completely emptied both tanks prior to towing, but I did notice my truck jerking/lurching a bit when towing. When I got to my destination, I noticed the fresh and gray each were 13% full. I tried the fresh water drain, but didn't see any water pouring out of the bottom of the trailer when I opened it up. Perhaps I just need to really crank up the front jack when I am emptying my tanks? Other ideas? Thx for your tips and advice. Bill

My (2021 Elite 1) tires appear to be balanced. They have the weights on the inside of the rim. It appears that Oliver does recommend balancing our tires. From the Owners Manual: 1.5.6. TIRE BALANCE AND WHEEL ALIGNMENT: To avoid vibration or shaking of the vehicle when a tire rotates, the tire must be properly balanced. This balance is achieved by positioning weights on the wheel to counterbalance heavy spots on the wheel-and-tire assembly.

Not sure about other years or the Elite 2, but on my 2021 Elite 1, the Oliver owners manual says 80 PSI, the sticker on the side of the trailer says 80 PSI. The tires themselves read max cold pressure of 85 PSI. My trailer was delivered with Cooper Dicoverer HT3 tires.

@Carl Hansen - I got the solar pro package. I still do not fully understand how well 230 W of solar power will charge two 6V AGM batteries, or how long the batteries will keep me powered. (Heck, I do not understand what my power needs are yet.) But I wanted the coach to be set up for solar and now I have an external Zamp plug (directly into the batteries) and, perhaps later, I can upgrade to lithium, if needed. Also - @SeaDawg strongly recommended that I install solar. If I have learned one thing on this forum, it is to listen to @SeaDawg. I will need a lot more time without shore power to check the efficiency of this solar and battery system. Much to learn.
