  1. 2021 F350 SRW Diesel 2022 Oliver Legacy Elite II - Hull #1014 While traveling through Montana, rolling up to a stop light I decided to check my trailer brakes so I reached down and grabbed the controller and gently squeezed. To my surprise, nothing happened then I received a dash notification stating "trailer disconnected"! That will make you look behind you for sure. All good, trailer was still there. I tried it numerous on the rest of our trip, I would get the same notification. So, Wednesday I began looking into the issue. I heard there was some software issues with Ford and the brake controller but that was 2020 models. I saw somewhat of a wiring diagram in someone's post so I reached out to Oliver for a diagram. Mike said he didn't have one. So, to keep my man card I reached out to a Chris Scarff. I knew he had a similar problem. Unfortunately, our trailers wiring was different so that meant I had to do it the hard way and follow the trail of 12 volts. Without a diagram. With junction boxes below the bathroom sink. With wiring harnesses between the hulls. 😓 Although I am enjoying telling this story, I will cut to the chase. Someone at Oliver had used a solder connector, or at least one side of it, to connect 4 wires. The blue brake wire to the two blue wires that go outside the trailer and a red wire that I am assuming is the power for the emergency disconnect. So, if you are having a braking issue, check under the drivers side bed for a connector problem. I reported this to Mike and hopefully this is a one off, but you never know. I must admit the idea is kinda genius in a lazy couch potato kind of way. But not recommended! On a positive note, the trailer didn't push my truck at all, even in the mountains I didn't notice it. Another positive for bigger trucks than needed...until you do. Had I not pushed the brake controller I would have never known.
  2. Similar issue I think. Stereo went black between campgrounds. There is a 15Amp fuse that the schematic shows. I pulled the fuse which was fine. Then using my multimeter I checked wire #15 at the plug, black to #16, red to #15. I was getting 13+ volts at the harness so all was good there. I also submitted a ticket with Oliver but they referred me to Furrion. The number in my manual to Furrion is no longer valid. At some point Lippert bought out Furrion so I contacted Lippert. After a short wait the tech told me since I have power past the fuse it is an internal issue. Mine is in a 2022 LEII so it's out of warranty. They don't stock parts so their best advice was buy another one. Would love to fine one that fit the same hole in the trailer but was made in America instead of China. I told the guy although it's been over a year as far as date, the actual unit probably only has about 6 months of use. He said he understood. He sent me the link to order a new one, $367.95 is hard for me to justify for a 6 month product. Im hoping yours was just the fuse.
  3. Thank you SteveCr. Your solution wound up working for me! I just went the long way about it only because I hadn't been on line since. Everything was working except the app so I started attempting to solve the issue using emails. First, I followed the Lithionics instructions, Nothing. Then I submitted a ticket to Oliver. Oliver Service had nothing to add other than contact Lithionics. I contacted them first by emails using the emails in our service manuals. After not receiving a reply, I called them. They said they had never received my emails but were happy to help. The Lithionics man had never heard of the BLE Scanner they have listed in their troubleshooting guide. His solution was to turn off the batteries that were not working, so I did. Then push and hold the on button for 30 seconds which I did. The app immediately found the batteries and all is good! Thank you for your help! Kraig
  4. Answering my own question. Found this on the www. Lithionics-Bluetooth-App-FAQ-RevA.pdf
  5. 2022 LEII 390AH Lithium Pro Package My Lithionics App is only showing one battery out of the three. Wasn’t there some discussion on this somewhere? Nothing in the manual about troubleshooting the app. I’ve uninstalled the app 3 times with the same results. Not wanting to reboot batteries, everything works but the app. I’ve found nothing on the forum.
  6. I was just about to pull the trigger on a Truma! I think I will wait a bit now.
  7. Oliver service will make that look as good as new. Just had my door latch repaired Wednesday. When they riveted it in during construction they missed the metal plate inside the hull behind the latch. The pressure from the rubber grommet was enough to pull the rivet through the fiberglass. They went in by cutting a hole in the closet and adding the metal support brackets. I thought they would put an access port there to cover the hole. To my surprise they re-fiber glassed everything. You cant tell anything was done. As far as keeping the rain out. Butyl tape will leave you a mess but will work. If it were me, I would just put a piece of the air-conditioning foil tape over it until I could get it fixed. Think it will come off easier than the the butyl tape.
  8. Ok, heard back from Jason. They were supposed to put a 20 amp fuse there. So, F52 should be 20amp. Jason is looking into it to make sure this was just a one time thing or if during manufacturing they are putting to small a fuse in all of them. Jason was quick to respond! Thank you all for your help!
  9. I have started the ticket and will definitely keep the thread updated with what I am told. Thanks again!
  10. Thank you John and Topgun2! I know better than to put a larger fuse in and see what happens. I felt like there might be a setting or something that I was missing. And if I am looking at the owners manual right, the regular solar panels on top are on a 40 amp fuse. I just cant wrap my head around the 10 amps. I purchased the suitcase from Oliver to avoid any confusion with me buying the wrong suitcase or something not compatible with the Oliver TT and their wiring system. I mean, why would they sell me something that would burn the trailer down right? Anyway, I'm fixing to send an email to them to see if they even know this is an issue. They told me the 230W was their most popular seller!! Thanks again.
  11. 2022 Elite II - Lithium Pro Package - Newbie Alert! I purchased a 230W portable Zamp Solar suitcase when I picked up the trailer. When I plug it in and the sun is shining it is blowing fuse #F52. It's a 10 amp. I noticed the solar power cord has a 15 amp in line fuse. It's done it twice now. I searched the forums and either did not see, or I am not using the correct search phrases to find a similar problem. I did see where the ground wire had been left off of a couple of peoples trailers, mine is attached. Nothing is loose on the ground bus bar. No visible wiring issues that I can see. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
  12. Brand new Oliver Owner here. Actually, brand new to camping! My wife and I picked up H#1014 February 1, 2022. The experience went well. After viewing the walkthrough videos over and over and over the actual walk through went very smooth and very fast. Camped 2 nights at the Oliver Camp Grounds. It was cold and rainy and I am happy to report we found no issues. Everything worked, everything opened, everything closed. We brought a small electric heater which kept it around 65 on it's own, even in 16 degree weather. I set the thermostat to 68 just to get the furnace to engage because I was worried about the pipes. I only heard the furnace click on about once an hour. We spent another week in Tennessee at a couple of state parks and campgrounds. Surprising to me, I prefer state parks! Wouldn't have thought that before this adventure. The reason for this post, however is one thing I forgot to do prior to pick up that I hope to share and save someone what I am feeling now. Don't be me, get mud flaps on your tow vehicle!! Traveling I-40 in Tennessee from Nashville to Pigeon Forge was a pot hole party, everyone was invited and only the smart stayed away. Anyway, amongst all the bug guts and dirt on the front of the trailer I found a rock chip in the fiberglass :-(. Although it's small, about the size of a pencil head, it hurts soooo bigggg! Ugh. So, my advice, don't forget the mud flaps! I hope this helps someone out. When I noticed it, I got on the Oliver Forums and sure enough, there were posts about mud flaps! Kraig
  13. Good Morning and Welcome!! I'm a newbie to the Oliver Travel Trailer thing, but not to towing. Spent most of my life hauling livestock. From your numbers your truck can pull it. You see a lot of posts like this where people worry about their tow vehicle. In my opinion, the real question should be can my tow vehicle stop it in an emergency situation. I believe in overkill. I want much more vehicle than I need, but that is just me. If you are concerned now, you will be concerned on travel days. This concern will add much stress to your vacations or get away. Especially on these fine roads out there that are constantly under construction, no shoulder, tire debris that just pops up in front of you and those drivers that really shouldn't be driving. You know, the ones that stop in lane 2 of a freeway so they can try to get over to exit. So, in my opinion, if this is on your mind now, it wont go away. In my limited miles towing the Oliver, it tracks true, you frequently forget it's back there. I have already scared myself looking in the rear view and seeing someone on my tail, only to realize.... its just the Oliver :-). I haven't weighed mine full yet or I would give you those numbers to help you out for a general ball park.
  14. My wife and I just picked up Hull #1014 February 7, 2022. We are still in the Tennessee area and have camped at several State Parks and now our second campground. I was having an issue with the TV. First of all it seems to operate on a big time delay between the remote (pushing a button) and the tv ( TV responding). It also has locked up on me several times. After reading the manual and searching the forums and finding no answer I went to the manual setup tab in the settings menu. From there, I took a picture of the current settings in case I messed something up. I found the problem with the failure to connect to the campground wifi. At the top of the Manual Setup tab is the DHCP. Mine was turned to off. I turned it on, went back to the settings tab and tried to connect again. It worked!! This was a 2 day struggle so I hope this helps anyone who might have the same problem.
