  2. Yes, I prefer the propane furnace in below freezing temps because it adds heat between the shells while maintaining the double hull insulation in the upper half. Once you open all those cabinets and hatches you pretty much negate the whole double hull concept.
  3. We have the same issue on hull #1150. Same here, something I've been meaning to look into. Eventually.
  4. You should be fine.
  5. We've used the TST system for many (10+) years. We replaced the stock rubber valve stems with steel ones first. (These fit our 2022, YMMV: https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/c/xtra-seal/tire---wheel/tire-valves---caps/tire-valves---cores/aede909cf322/xtra-seal-bolt-in-valve-fits-rim-hole-diameter-5-8-inch/xts0/17428 ) Definitely get a TPMS, regardless of brand.
  6. Greetings to the Oliver LE1 sharing Hammonasset State Park with us. That's the second LE1 we've seen here this year.
  7. We have a new guest at Green Lake SP. No idea where she came from. Never saw one here before.
  8. Brings back memories. That's a great place.
  9. I think they've discontinued the rewards program and gone back to the old site visit system. Saw an email about that recently.
  10. A new contender in the fiberglass RV market for the US: Awaken RV -https://share.google/Zzpg4orVpsEvoSdpL Nice looking exterior. Autoevolution reporting a price of $82,500 and dry weight of 5500#: https://www.autoevolution.com/news/awaken-rv-s-fiberglass-morningstar-flagship-camper-is-here-to-shift-how-american-s-camp-257902.html
  11. The fish photo was taken from above, standing on the shore. The water is very clear. In the wide shot you can see the green water in the shade. Closer to the camera you're seeing the reflection of the blue sky.
  12. Green Lakes State Park near Syracuse. Home base when visiting our son and his family. They have a range of different site types, hookups or not. The lakes are the big draw. They're actually green in color because "they are meromictic lakes, meaning their waters don't mix, and high concentrations of calcium carbonate suspended in the water column reflect green light wavelengths."
  13. Make a checklist, like a pilot, and stick to it. Failure to follow my own list has led to a could of expensive mistakes over the years.
  14. I've seen some solar powered ones that don't need a power source.
  15. We've also had 2 RVLocks fail. Will install something else next time.
  16. Our Tessie was black and white. She and Maestro (cat #1) were travel buddies. (Maestro was the boss.)
  17. Is Charley a Springer?
  18. We traveled with 3 cats over the years. The first one loved it. She liked to look out the windows, even when driving. In fact, we had to teach her not to walk around on the dashboard! (She was fearless.) Cat #2 hated cars and #3 liked the camper and tolerated the car, but just barely. He'd stay in his carrier and sulk until we got to our destination. No pets at the moment, but I've thought about putting a litter box in the basement like @Steve and Mary suggested. It's my allergies holding us back.
  19. Ahhh, I get it now. Have you looked over the detectors at etrailer.com?
  20. Can't answer the question, but curiosity is killing me. Why?
  21. We just use the auto-changeover regulator. When the first tank runs out it automatically switches to the second tank and the indicator turns red. I check the indicator every day or two. When I see red I plan to replace the empty tank. Haven't run out off propane in 26 years.
  22. Have fun!
  23. Looks like a great trip. Thanks for sharing. Yosemite was one of our favorites. How were the crowds?
  24. Ray, it looks like you've been a long contributor over at airforums. Can't see why that can't be the case here as well. It seems to me these brake threads just got too personal. Believe me, I know how frustrating troubleshooting can be. My wife will tell you I can be a bear to be around when some device is defying my efforts to make it perform as it should. Leave if you feel you must, but consider sticking around. Now that your brakes are working you can get out there and share your BoondockingOliver stories with us. Safe travels.
