  1. Ours doesn’t have squeeze paddles. It just plus and minus buttons. I know we shouldn’t be catapulting forward every time we stop nor skidding. I just find it odd that on a flat dry road it skid twice stopping on a hour long stop and go trip.
  2. I’m curious what setting you set your brake controller to? I know it varies, just looking for an average of what number most set on. We just had our brakes checked today because we had a skidding noise a few times upon braking on our last trip home. Our brakes checkout good so we guessed it’s our brake controller setting. We were set at 6 and the RV specialist recommended 2-3. The odd thing is it didn’t skid every time. Is this something you just have to play with?
  3. I think this is a clever idea. We are considering a water softener for our home presently. We have very hard water and it’s a constant battle with the calcium build up. I’m sure running softener water in the camper would have the same helpful effect to reduce build up.
  4. I agree with the others, look out of state. Better deals to be had.
  5. That photo actually made my mouth water!😋Looks delicious!
  6. @Steve and Deb Happy Belated Birthday to you as well!!🎂🎉 Those chairs looks great! We really love our Oliver chairs but they do take up a lot of space. When we go on longer trips we will probably leave them home and get something more compact such as your Pico’s.👍🏼
  7. Easy salsa 4 large plum tomatoes (about 1 pound), diced (to yield 2 cups) ¼ cup chopped white onion 3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro 2 teaspoons minced jalapeño (remove seeds for less heat) 1 ½ teaspoons fresh lime juice ¾ teaspoon kosher salt (or to taste) 1 small garlic clove, minced Combine all the ingredients in a bowl. If you want your homemade salsa to have a smoother texture—more like jarred—pulse half the salsa in a food processor, then combine it with the remaining chunky half. Cover tightly and refrigerate for up to 5 days. Great way to use up those fresh garden tomatoes. chips and salsa, delicious snack at camp!😋
  8. This is what we use also, works great!👍🏼
  9. @SeaDawg Thank you❤️🎉🎂
  10. Just had to share these adorable gifts collapsible tote bag and garden flag I received today (it’s my birthday today🎂🎉😜) Adding them to my “favorite camping accessories” list!!
  11. We were very uncertain about the compost toilet and now so very happy we have one. It’s very easy to get use to and clean. Saves so much water! It’s nice not having to deal with black tank dumping. We would never go back to a traditional toilet in a camper.
  12. Hello Maleah, Congrats on your Oliver! So many great adventures to look forward to including retirement!! Welcome to the Oliver forum/family!💗
  13. How fun! Oliver’s are gaining in popularity, as more and more are rolling out of the factory everyday these random encounters will increase.😃
  14. Chicken Pineapple Kabobs. Ingredients: For the marinade: ¼ cup olive oil ½ cup chopped cilantro 1 tablespoon honey 2 teaspoons minced ginger, note: Trader Joe’s carries ginger paste that’s perfect for this 1 lime, juiced 1 teaspoon salt To build the skewers: ½ lb chicken, boneless, skinless thighs work best, cut into 1-inch pieces 1 medium red onion, sliced into 1-inch pieces Pineapple wedges, cut into 1 inch cubes. Instructions: Combine the ingredients for the marinade in a large bowl or ziplock bag. Add the chicken to the marinade and stir to coat. Cover or seal the container, and let marinate for at least an hour, or up to 24 hours. In the meantime, fire up your grill or get your campfire going. Build the kabobs by threading the chicken and vegetables onto your skewers. Brush with a bit of oil. Grill the kabobs over medium-high to high heat, turning occasionally so they cook evenly until the chicken is cooked through – about 10 minutes total. Remove from the grill and enjoy!
  15. Give Lithionics a call, they are very nice (great customer service) and extremely helpful!
  16. Sounds great!👍🏼
  17. New video! Oliver Camp Chairs!
  18. We love our Oliver Camp Chairs! What are your favorite Camp Chairs?
  19. Thank you so much.💗
  20. Well said, Bill!! I just don’t believe Oliver would put their brand logo on a cover if it is so harmful to the Oliver. I’m happy to hear you have had 6 successful seasons using your cover. I’m swaying on the side of getting one because I too feel like covered against the harsh winter is better then no cover.🤔
  21. Looking for the perfect fit containers for your Ollie’s garage storage? Here they are!!
  22. There are as many positive reviews as negative. So I guess it just comes down to personal decision. You are quite lucky you don’t have to make that decision. Of course we all want what’s best in caring for our Ollie’s.💗
  23. We store outside in our backyard, we have 30 amp so we can plug in anytime. We do not have space to build a structured cover hence we are considering using the cover. There are such mix revues about covers. I would think if a fabric cover “is the worst solution” Oliver wouldn’t sell them with their brand logo on it.🤷🏻‍♀️
  24. For those that cover……With the Calmark Cover on do the solar panels still charge the batteries?
