Jps190
We just finished up a 4 week trip and during the last few days we have a horrible gray tank smell in the trailer after a travel day. The first time I noticed it I verified the valve was closed and before the next travel day I made sure there was water in all the traps (both sinks and shower). Happened again today on or last leg home. Tank was empty, valve was closed (verified under the front seat). Anyone have this issue or ideas before I start tearing into things? Happy Campers RV Holding Tank additive eliminated gray tank odors for us. 2 Hull #1291 Central Idaho 2022 Elite II Tow Vehicle: 2019 Tundra Double Cab 4x4, 5.7L with tow package
Ray Kimsey
In addition to gray tank additives we put screens in the sinks to capture any food scraps that we can easily dispose of. 3 2019 Ram 1500 5.7L V8, 3.92 axle ratio - 2020 LEll - Hull676
Moderators Mike and Carol Posted September 24 Moderators Share Posted September 24 Check under the back dinette seat and look at where the gray water pipe from the bathroom enters the gray tank. Ours was not glued just a friction attachment. Bumpy roads caused it to dislodge and not seal tightly. I glued ours in.
