Guest viewing profiles

Why are guests on this forum able to view members’ profiles?  This is the only forum that I am on that permits this practice.

I think it shows up every time you turn it on. You may be the one triggering the guest? I can't imagine that many people want to check me out....

I gather from your comment that you are also seeing the notifications every time you open the forum. The notification feature must have recently been fixed or modified because it has been sporadic until just recently.

Y'all can rest easy knowing that just because a guest viewed your profile does not mean they can view your personal information.

That’s all well and good, but again, this is the only forum that I know of that will allow an unregistered guest to view any information about a registered member.

But my username still shows up in the list of users online at the bottom of the forum page?

If you set yourself to completely private you will not show up in the See An Ollie map for requests (If you are participating).
